Title: *-Changeling Minion-* Brushable custom
Post by: Dee_Kary on July 01, 2012, 12:50:02 PM: Queen Chrysalis receives all the love, but what about the ones doing the dirty work? :P Here's my most recent custom, a Changeling minion with brushable mane and tail :D.

Like Chrysalis, this little guy was also lots of work :) and just like her, it has a lot of sculpted parts with Apoxie (mainly the head and body) and the legs carved from the original plastic with no additions to them. The facial features like the frown and mouth are now raised to give it a realistic look. The wings were made from thin acrylic glass and painted with iridescent paint (you can see the shimmer in the pics this time :D).

Original body was the "Derped-eyes" Luna from the Canterlot set with Celestia, sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt, painted with Acrylics, rehaired with Dollyhair's Black Magick and Moonlight and sealed with Testor's Dullcote and Liquitex Gloss Varnish. It was a blast working on this guy <3 hope you all like him! :D

Sawkinator: I bought a letter-sized sheet of it at Home Depot :) it was very cheap, like 2-3 dollars. You can find it close to the area where they sell doors and windows. They're there mixed with the real glass sheets ^^.

Holy Smokes!! It's like you took my WIP out of my hand and made it a 1000x better. I hope my lil minion looks a tenth as good as yours. I love his glass wings, so far mine are just cut plastic.
