OMG!!! HAPPY BOUNCES!! it arrived!!! *faints*
***UPDATE***
I have become a nomad. I have spent the last week packing all my ponys/MH and belongings and putting them in storage. I was in a flat and the landlord has kicked me out. i can't afford to start up a new flat and my anxiety problemis making me very scared of committing to living with other people again. So i am just giving a heads up that i am powering down for a while. I can still peek at the Arena occasionally via my phone and will redirect my mail for those of you who are trading with me at this point. No pony will be left behind or lost!!!
Don't have too much fun with out me! i am sad that i will miss the Derby and ANTM tho.

I firstly want to humbly apologise to any members i am trading with or who may be waiting on me for some reason. I'm sorry for my recent tardiness.
Life throws my share of lemons at me all in one go.
I am going through court with my exhusband and my 2 kids and it is a long, stressful and heartbreaking experience.
As well as another matter of an exboyfriend stalking and threatening me regularly.
I have ongoing anxiety problems to boot
and i bought $100 worth of ponies off an arena member and they never showed up (the icing on the cake)
I am dissappointed, insecure and overwhelmed to say the least. But i just wanted to apologise to a couple of people.
If you are waiting on me for some reason can you PM me where we are up to and i will try to catch up with everything

Aww, I'm so sorry you are having such a rotten time at the moment. I can only imagine how stressed you must be. It's nice of you to contact your traders and let them know what's going on. I really hope your lost ponies show up too :hug:

That sounds awful alright, as Kiwi said its good to keep intouch with your trades when you can. I hope things start looking up for you very soon that is a lot for anyone to deal with.

I have to ask though, do you have any idea what happened to your ponies? Where they shipped and never arrived?

I paid twinkle_pony for 21 ponies on the 17th may and was told they were"on their way" on the 22nd may. I have sent her a couple of messages and had no reply. I am so gutted.
I don't know what has happened, if they are still on their way if i have been ripped off or they got stolen.
Thanks for the kind words. We have some awesome toy sales just starting here so some retail therapy might be in order

It looks like she was on yesterday. :) I would message her again or email her through the email address provided by Paypal when you made payment. I do see that you are in New Zealand and she is in Canada and it is not unusual for packages to take four weeks or more. I doubt they are lost though, it is very rare that a package trully goes missing
Also don't forget you have 45 days to open a case with Paypal if you do not receive your items. Please keep that in mind so that you will not be out both your ponies and monies in the event that you do not hear back from her. Or your package does not show up.
But I would shoot her another message and see what happens.

Oh hon! chin up & hugs. Things can only get better eh! I've brought from Canada and it did take about 5-6 weeks to arrive, so your box of lovelies might turn up yet.

Still NO Pony Package!!

Ok still stressed about various things but mostly upset that my package STILL hasn't arrived from twinkle_pony.
It has been 8 weeks now and i have messaged her only to be assured it should be on it's way.
She is not too reliable at replying either. And i have contacted the post office at my end and they only recommend i contact the seller.
I dunno what to do! I am out of pocket because i paid in 2 installments, and she was slow to ship and contact. So lodging a claim-a-ma-thingy with PayPal is too late i think. Silly me! i still feel really new to overseas buying/trading etc and this is one of the reasons i have been so anxious about it.
I was so stupidly excited about the ponies too (still check the doorstep each morning in hope!!) It was a selection of the (imo) BEST G1 ponies (a glownshow, twinkle eyes, SoSofts, and 15 G3 ponies)
Gonna go sulk now....

unfortunately i had a problem with twinkle_pony too, but in that situation she was the buyer. I had hold ponies over 4 weeks for her and never got a payment. I had to tell others no as i was happy to put them on hold for the 1st one interested. In the end, a waiste of my time.
Check your paypal to make sure what you can do at this point.
I'd love to help you out, if your ponies don't turn up after all. Let me know what you were looking for and i will see if i have some of it! :)

I've had it take almost 3 months (I think) for mail to reach NZ. I know it was at least 2 months, and I had to keep my receipt, and contact the head office to get things going. I think it got stuck in customs, but it did make it there eventually.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Basically, she and I had agreed on the sale, I'd even sent her my address and asked for her Paypal so I could pay her for them... and she sold the ponies out from under me. Within a day. Because she "didn't see" my PM.

Ha, that's indeed some sad fun there, Snap! ;) I've seen your topic at the time you've posted it and responded. Not really fair. I am so sorry to be so negative about Twinklepony but i've seen several issues from different members with her. I just wouldn't do business again, well, not putting things on hold or buy from her. Based on my own experience with her as well as the stories i've read.

Could your package be stuck in customs? if they get ahold of it, it could take weeks longer!

I had a bad experience with Twinkle_Pony as well. We traded MH dolls and she sent me a loose doll in a way to small bubble mailer. He was bent in half (!!!) and his face had been damaged by his shoes! She refunded me the trade value, but it took a month and a half and several PMs and Paypal requests.

Do you have any proof for shipping from her, like a shipping number or receit? In that case it could be stuck in custom. But if she just claims to have shipped the ponies I would be more worried. Not saying that the parcel couldn't be stuck somewhere anyway, but we don't know that. And it is a lot of money so I understand that you are concerned.

Was it sent via surface mail? That can take a while. I think it was her I bought some ponies from in May and they got here about a week ago, so it took them about two months to get to Sweden from Canada.

week 10 and no ponies. Getting more worried about it because i am in the middle of being evicted and the thought of them finally turning up after i have moved out is not helping.
I have pleaded for any details and only get assured that they should be on their way.

yeah, I'm going to speak up here as well. I had a transaction with her and sadly her communication is pretty bad. I ended up having to ask another member on here that twinkle did a purchase with to see when she paid and what date she shipped out the ponies to her. Come to find out, she didn't ship until 9 days after receiving payment form us.
I also had to contact her to ask twinkle if she had even sent them out.
I then contact twinkle directly and asked her about a ship date. She didn't bother to reply. My package arrived three days later after that.
Here's how it went:
Payment made May 9th, 2012 for ponies - twinkle confirms same day via PM.
May 21, 2012- I contact twinkle to see if she shipped them out.
May 22, 2012- She lets me know they have been sent out. No date given, just that they have been sent.
May 27, 2012- I contacted another member on here who had dealt with her recently. Only to find out she paid same time I did. Stated she didn't ship out her ponies until May 18th when she paid on May 9th like me.
June 8, 2012- I PM twinkle to let her know that the ponies had not arrived yet and to see when she actually shipped them out. No response and yes I did check to she if she had been online within that time. Yes, she was.
June 11, 2012- I PM twinkle again to ask where the ponies are. about two hours later, the ponies arrive.
So her communication is very poor. I wouldn't deal with her again unless she steps this up and puts on her A game on.
Sorry you are having to wait so long ShaMera. I wish she would communicate a little better with you.

I don't think 10 weeks, or more, from Canada to New Zealand for many ponies is a long time if it was sent via surface mail. I've tried googling how long it takes but can't find much. When I got my ponies from Twinkle I googled and found out that it takes 2-3 months from Canada to the UK via surface mail. It took my ponies two months to get to me.
I was about to get ponies from another Canadian and asked about surface mail. She said that it is a bit unreliable since it really travels with whatever transportation that has free space to take it and it can get lost as well as get stuck in customs.
I found this on a jeans forum by someone located in Australia: "I have recieved surface mail from Germany and the US. Germany took 4 and a half months to get to Australia while the US one took around 3 and a half... HATE surface mail with a passion"

In the meantime... 13 weeks ... hmm.. they might still turn up but to be honest it isnt looking good :( If you still have had no communication or proof of postage etc I would advise you to leave some honest feedback for twinkle pony at this point

so on May 23rd the package was confirmed on its way and i *finally* had it in my hot lil hands 11th september. What a horrid 4 months of waiting and worry.
lesson --- never give up hope, you may be surprised or at least learn something valuable.

But I am curious what date did the postage stamp have on it? Has it really been traveling around for four months??

Actually I also wondered the same as Ponylady - what date does the parcel say on it? 4 months thats a long time in the mail .. wow :blink: its not unknown but its rare (unless it was sent surface mail)

All dates on package are 7 june 2012. and it was surface mail.
