I had to have an emergency c-section unfortunately, but we're both doing well. We've both had check ups since we got home and Peanut is doing awesomely! I hurt a good bit but, well, major surgery...
She was born at 6:32 pm on 6/6/12. 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and 20 inches long! I figured she was going to be blonde or red headed. Her daddy is a dirty blonde and I was born red headed and though I'm considered brunette now, still a TON of red in my hair.
Sneaky girl turned out strawberry blonde. :lol: At least for now.
She'll probably be permanently blue eyed, though they will most likely lighten as both Jay and I have pale blue eyes and most of our family does too (a few greens and grays here and there)

She's amazing and such a good baby. I'm sleeping well most of the time. Healing slowly but surely

Her daddy is nearly 6'4" lmao. Lots of tall people all over our family too hehe

OH MY GOODNESS SHE'S AWESOME!!!!!!! Congrats so much! How are you feeling? Emergency C-section, that is very scary and painful. I hope you're doing well, and that your new little 'pooper' is doing awesome!!! I wish I lived closer to you, I'd bring you a great big batch of brownies and wash your laundry:) Seriously, congrats so much and I sincerely hope you're feeling ok. I have 3 little poopers who are rapidly growing up, so if you ever need to chat or anything, I'm always around.

I'm really lucky that my mother is staying with me until I'm healed up. My mother-in-law is also here this week! So I don't have to do much at all... other than diaper duty and pumping milk for the kiddo haha.
She is beyond laid back and a snuggle bug. We sleep together in my recliner a lot. It's really cute.
We've just really bonded well. I was terrified that I would wind up with postpartum depression... it was just one of my huge fears!
I shouldn't have worried. She's so amazing.

I used to have blonde hair when I was a baby, eventually it turned brown.

As of today I am officially back to pre-pregnancy weight. Two weeks, one day postpartum. PARTY TIME!
Going to continue down that road thankfully :)
