I'm a huge fan of different bodymods (mainly tattoos, piercings, implants and scarification), but sadly I haven't been able to "mod" much of my body (purely due to money issues). I do have a tongue piercing and stretched earlobes. My earlobes are currently at left: 10mm (00g) and right: 12mm (~1/2 inch). My goal is 12mm in each and then I will probably stay there for a while, but I do have to say that 14 or 16 mm is quite tempting. :P Before I started stretching I had a total of 10 piercings in my ears, but I took them all out when I came up in around 8mm/0g. I thought it looked a bit strange for some reason.
At the moment I have a lot of plans. I have two full sleeves in mind, a back piece, tribute/memorial tattoos, maybe an implant or two if I ever get enough courage, an industrial piercing and some anchors. Sadly I don't know how many of these I will be able to get since it's still pretty hard to get a job if you got visible mods.
Do you have any bodymods? If so, how many? Do you want to get one/more and what would that be? Let's talk! :biggrin:

I've got a few piercings, but would like some tattoos in the future. I had my lobes done when I was about 15, but I never wear jewellery in them as they swell slightly and itch like crazy and I can't afford to buy, and don't like the look of, solid gold jewellery since everything else irritates them. I've also got my lower, right side lip done, and an industrial bar in my left ear which is my favourite. I'd also like to get an upper cartilage piercing on my right ear and my belly button done.

I have 2 tattoos and I am going in for a consultation tomorrow about tattoo #3, my beloved chest piece. Cannot. Frigging. Wait.
I have many more tattoo plans, some that have been "in-the-making" for years. I want to do sub-dermal implants, but I don't think hubbs would go for it.

I love industrial piercings. :) Only down part is that I've heard from a lot of people that the healing process can be very long and annoying, some of them even had to take the jewellery out in order for it to heal properly. Did you have any problems with your industrial?
I had a helix many years ago, but it never healed and when I couldn't sleep on that side of the head I took it out. Now I have a small hole with skin over it in the cartilage. :huh:

I have 3/4" tunnels in my ears and a fused (read: can never remove) helix piercing. I've had a septum piercing for many years that I occasionally wear jewelry in. I have others that I won't talk about, and many that are no longer with me.
I am tattooed on my back, both arms down to the elbows, stomach, ribcage, chest, and my right calf.

I had a belly piercing and ear piercings (don't know the right word :$) but had to take it out because I am alergic for all kinds of metal pierced in my.body including gold.
The only thing I have now is a tattoo on the hip on the right side. It has a lot of meaningad I got it to represent a new step in live and to remind me to never go.back and I am.beaitifull just the way I am ^.^
And I.would like to have a new one but.my parents hate tatoo's XD

Ouch at that last one! I bet it did hurt really bad. :shocked: I want to pierce both my nipples, but whipping my boobs out at some random guy/girl just don't feel right, can't imagine what you felt like while whipping something else out. XD

I wouldn't redo that tho, but I'm fine with my li'l spike in the lip.
One day I may get a tattoo, but with the tat-hype I may reconsider it.

If you want a tattoo, find a nice shop that understands your fear of needles and will make you feel comfortable. Bring a soda or something light to nibble on, too. My husband is so phobic of needles he has to leave the room while doctors put my IVs in (I have to do a lot of IV meds and he still can't watch) and he passes out/throws up whenever they draw blood from him or give him a shot.
He got a tattoo almost 3 years ago now on our first wedding anniversary. He was white as a ghost and he nearly passed out in the middle of it, but he loves it so much he's actually planning on having another one done. The thing about tats is that it doesn't look like you're being jabbed with a bunch of needles, but the pain takes some adjustment.

I have three holes in each ear and three tats. One on my right calf, my left foot and an ugly horrible thing on my inner right ankle which I plan to someday remove. I plan on getting another tat this fall, from The Last Unicorn.

I'll admit I was an absolute *slave* to my industrial piercing! Both sides of both holes were throughly cleaned with a mild saline solution and plain water 2-3 times a day with a LOT of cotton buds, and I was nearly constantly wiping off any 'crusty' bits that worked their way down the bar. The whole healing process took around 3 months, or at least that was when I realised I could sleep on my left side without discomfort or pain! To be honest, I don't think you can be too careful when healing piercings, and I'm pleased to say I've never had a single problem with mine. I've had it for about a year and a half, and there's no visible scar tissue, never had any infections or nastyness, and I've never had to take out the original jewellery. My ear looks just like it did before, but with a pretty bar!

I have 5 in each ear, my tongue, my belly button, and as of Saturday, my nose! I was actually able to leave my tongue ring out for over 5 years and put one back in recently. (It was stretched out to a 4g.) One of my "tricks" was to stick straws and chopsticks through my tongue and act like an idiot when I was in college. :P
I love getting pierced, and even though I'm in my 30's, I don't care what anybody thinks. I love jewelry and love being sparkly!
I do want to get a tattoo, but since I haven't decided what I want yet, that's going to wait.

i have my right nostril pierced, 12g earlobes, and a microdermal anchor on my chest - right above my cleavage. i have a scarification piece on one thigh and enough tattoos that it's easier to count the hours under the needle. but roughly,
right arm half sleeve
inner forearm pieces
large thigh piece hip to knee
large calf piece knee to ankle
piece between my shoulder blades
calf just under my right knee
and a ladybug on my left foot.
phew.

a guy did my stuff, and he was mad cool. made me really comfortable to let him get the job done. they see this stuff every day, you know? like going to the lady doctor! ;)

I'm half-tempted to get a corset piercing one of these days, but I can't imagine having metal jutting out of my back to be pleasant for sitting down, not to mention getting the piercing itself.

corsets are considered play piercings. they are next to impossible to heal for any permanent or long term wear.

I've got several piercings, but no tattoos yet. I really want to get my dog's paw print, but I can't decide where to put it!

I have nothing right now, mostly because my parents here the word "piercing" or "tattoo" and go into a rage. XD
I plan on getting a small tattoo some day, something petite that won't be a big deal (probably on my hip or lower abdomen or the like). I'd like to get some ear piercings as well, but, I'm not the best with needles. :P

The only body modifications I had are ear piercings. Sadly, the cartilage in my ear does NOT agree with piercings so I had to take them out. My industrial piercing on my left ear was my pride and joy. It never would heal right and I am left with a keloid the size of a marble on top of that ear. So I had to take it out, much to my sadness.
I'd love to get a nose ring but I'd hate to see the same thing happen with that. If I had growth that size on my nose....well, that would be awful!
I thought about getting a small tattoo of a MLP or a dolphin. I'm terrified of needles so I dunno if I ever will do it.

Hmm modifications. I used to have, and most but not all at the same time these piercings:
bridge
ears 2x each side
nape of neck
septum
monroe
lip piercings on each side and one in the middle,
two surface chest piercings
tongue
navel top and bottom
hand web and
two others which don't need to be mentioned
I currently only have my septum left. The most I had at once was around 15 including ears.
Tattoos I have a full chest piece, shoulder to shoulder and full neck tattoos. My right full sleeve is outlined, and the bottom to my left sleeve is outlined. I also have some stars and a bullet shell belt hah. I have a lot of work to get done. I will eventually be fully sleeved, have my hands and legs done as well as my back and a stomach piece. So pretty much covered!
I forgot to add that I did have my ears stretched too, I have had them out for over two years now so I don't remember what the size was to be exact. It was over a half inch though.

Why would you go through all of that pain if you don't get to keep them? *shudder* :yikes:

because play piercings really don't hurt that much. they are very shallow. and um.... some people like them.

I currently have 2 sets of lobe piercings, my left tragus and a cartilage piercing in my left ear.
Previously though I also had my eyebrow done and my bellybutton.
I also have 4 tatts - my thigh piece (roses, heart lock and key), my upper arm (my first ferret's portrait) and both wrists - one is a memorial piece for my mum, the other is my zombie pony custom Little Zombie Girl <3
Always more plans for more ink ^.^

I used to have a lot of piercings, but I got bored of them. Now I just have my nose, tragus & belly button pierced. May get my ears pierced again in the future, but I think that's it.
Tattoos, however...I really love tattoos, and each of mine are very special to me.
I have a blue star on the back of my right hip (so...my bum, then. Let's be specific :P), a seahorse on my left arm (my design), a sunflower on the back of my neck (again, my own personal design), a black heart on my hip (left side), Rarity's cutiemark of three diamonds on my left 'hip'/bum again ;), and a blue and white balloon molly fish on my right wrist.
I plan on more, too.

I adore bodymods. At the moment I don't have as many as I'd like, but once I turn 18.. off to the tattoo studio I'll go. ;) I really like needles, oddly enough..
I currently have: nose piercing (nostril), helix (x1), two lobe piercings on right side (one of them self pierced). Self piercing wasn't a first choice.. I've done quite a few with sterile equipment and had no complications whatsoever.
I had to retire a lobe piercing on my left side as unfortunately it ripped :yikes: but I'm going to get the left side pierced twice more and I'm planning on another one on the right. So five lobe piercings in all. I did have one lobe stretched to 3mm (I know, I know..) but I didn't like it.
I'm also planning to get my naval done, once I overcome my severe hatred of my stomach XD and possibly tragus.
It's difficult for me because I currently work with children, and my future career (paeds nursing) specifies that I can't have facial piercings and visible tattoos. So my nose piercing is coming out once I'm 18. I'll be getting body tattoos to make up for it. ^.^
I'm planning to get tiny swallows across my right hipbone, something incorporating roses across my ribcage on the left side, possibly a small pony related tattoo also. My parents do not know, as they disapprove of any body mods - they aren't exactly happy about what I currently have, but it's not their business XD
Does hair dye count too? My hair has been midnight blue, maroon and dark red. It'll be going bright pink soon.. and then teal, and god knows what'll come after that! :drunk:

Seems like a lot of you have some really nice bodymods going on. :D I like it that people get more and more of them, it makes is a bit less unusual and the acceptance is slowly getting more spread. ^.^
Well, if dyed hair counts I went from blond (my original colour) to blue, purple, black with red tips, fully black and now I'm sporting intensive red (at least that's what the package says ;) ).

I have always been self-conscious and I was afraid it would bring attention to it (even though I know I'm not bad by any means, it still bothers me). But now when I look down, I see sparkles and it makes me feel a little better. :) Love your shape, and all that.

This! I hated my stomach from age 10 until I had my belly button pierced at 17, and then I magically didn't mind it as much. I'm almost 20 now and actually even LIKE my stomach... it's very strange.
I'm very into body mods... I love the process of being pierced (not the pain, just the anticipation and adrenaline) and the aesthetic of the healed piercings. I currently have:
-belly button
-nostril
-3 lobe piercings in left ear, 2 in right
-tragus
-rook
-helix
...for a grand total of ten piercings. My first lobes are stretched to a 6g, which is just big enough to have fun with while still being able to wear standard earrings sometimes. I plan on getting an industrial or a conch at some point, and maybe a philtrum ("Medusa") or a tongue web.
I don't have any tattoos yet, but I plan on getting "I love you" in my boyfriend's handwriting on my shoulder if we get married one day (which is being discussed). I'd also like another small piece, but I'm not sure what yet.

I've got my nose pierced which a friend did for me for my 18th, I had both ears pierced at 9 and I have them both stretched to a 0g I want to go up two more to 5/8 and just stay there.
I also have one tattoo that I got for my daughter. Her name means gazelle so I have a baby gazelle with pink asters around it which is the birth flower for September. I have two more planned out one is for my three angel babies and the other is for my home state California. I'm also going to have one for each child I have which will probably only be one more.

It's le stupid eating disorder which stops me. My stomach is quite probably my biggest physical insecurity, I come to hate it more as time passes.
Some of the girls I've known with the same problems got theirs pierced either to mark an achievement (leaving the ward / recovery progress), so maybe I'll do the same. ^.^

I'd like to just have simple pierced ears, but evidently I'm allergic to nickel! I've tried numerous times with numerous metals, but nothing has lasted more than about 8 weeks without getting infected. I'd love a tattoo, but I have no idea what I'd want on me forever lol. Plus I'd probably be allergic to the ink...

ear at 12mm an going higher
4 facial piercing at mo, too many previous to count
will be getting my tongue split in future :)

Now I just have a ton of holes in myears.
If I could afford it, and worked in a job where it wouldn't be considered too weird, I'd have my ears surgically modified so they were pointy, like an elf.

I love piercings! I've never had any on my face but I have my belly button pierced. I used to have 18 earrings in my ears but I've taken them all out except one little hoop in my left tragus. I really regret taking them all out and I hope to get some put back in but I need to wait till I can afford it. I always wanted to get a dermal anchor just behind my right ear but I'm scared of how permanent they are. The same with tattoos.

me ive only got the 2 both were simple statements on my life...first was my pawprint cutiemark..i didnt think of it as a cutie mark at the time but..the location and looking back LOL it certainly could be mistaken for one..its a full scale solid fill wild WOLF paw print with claws...with as shy as i am that was the hardest thing ive ever done..and NO ONE knew i was doing it..but the symbolization goes way way way back with me between being a lone wolf and such...mom sure was mad when i told her HAHAH even at the time of being 30+
the second was a belly button piercing..i was like..oh..your done?.....some reason with all my metal fab work and scars from such i was expecting a more sensitive spot like that to be more painfull lol....but i kept loosing my paw print dangles sadly so its just a ball end
i want a lil more ink...but its gottta be on my backside and i dont mean down there with my cutie mark i mean anything forward facing is likely to get hit with some chunk of flying metal etc...ive got enuf scars to tell me anything forward facing wont survive
