Title: You know you have gone insane when...
Post by: Mintymints on June 07, 2012, 10:51:03 AM

Yeah, I've probably gone insane...~
So, I went to visit my dad for 2 weeks and while I was gone my mom went through my stuff (Ponies and all)
And THREW AWAY my backcards, opened a few MIBs and the boxes I kept. So I found where they were (on the curb, in the trash) and was up at 1:00 AM digging through the trash. I found all of the pony boxes, G3 backcards were soaked and ruined, some LPS boxes were trashed as well. So, in addition to that , every toy that I had sorted for ebay sale (like my old barbies, some LPS, and my Hamtaros etc) Were now in one big tote, complete with paint scratches. Luckily, my ponies are at my dad's house.

Tell me your pony insanity :)

That is horrible!
Maybe she thought she was helping by "cleaning" up or something? So sorry that happened to you.

Thanks everyone (:
She just thinks that I'm not respecting her by keeping such nonsense at my age xD
So, I'm going to be  getting a storage unit or something  ^.^

A storage unit sounds like a great idea if your mother can't respect your belongings.  :(  So sorry to hear about this.  At least you were able to salvage some of it!

"She just thinks that I'm not respecting her by keeping such nonsense at my age"
feel free to inform her that she owes you quite some $$$ for ruining COLLECTABLES. She's one to speak of respect.. if she respected YOU she would've politely asked you to do something with the stuff and not just tossing it her way.
I'm sorry, I know this is about your mom, but sometimes people (regarding of our relationship to them) are just pricks.

o.o why

I am SO sorry!!! Your mom shouldn't have disrespected your things... I mean, it is your money and life after all, not her's.... -hugs-

Luckily my mom knows the value of this stuff and insists I keep the boxes packed safely away in storage. I am sorry for your loss, though. Sometimes parents can be infuriating.
My insanity? My brother looooves to bully me about my collection and when he gets mad at me he threatens to break my stuff. He is really juvenile sometimes and needs to grow up! If I touched any of his stuff he would freak right out so it drives me crazy that he can't respect my things.

Oh gosh! Thats terrible - I think getting them out of the house sounds like a good plan!

My mum sometimes "steals" ponies and hides them to prove to me I have too many as I dont notice that they are missing - she once had Hula Hula and Quackers for 3 months and I never noticed! But she did that for a giggle nothing else.

Edit: This has just made me realise where that "missing" Baby Bow Tie could be that I have been moaning about for a month...is midnight too late to text and ask her where she hid that dang pony? Lol

Thank you :)
And I know, she used to fuel my collecting, so I think she may have been angry for some reason and took it out on my stuff :/
She shouldn't have been so insensitive  :(

lil.cutie.pie- I would do the same C: I have the same fear of flying as well~ Good Luck :)

xKelpiex- My brother is the same way, when we were younger, he got a blue stamp and rubbed it on some of my G2s   All I did was get his gameboy charger  :/

Hathorcat- My dad would do that when I didn't clean my room, he always took my favorites to see if I cared, and I would turn the house upside down looking for them :)
To this day I can't find Sunrise Song  :P

Hehe It's never too late, I stormed into my mom's room late last night to yell at her...  :satisfied:
