Howdy to everypony!
I'm a 40something mommy who's been off-n-on collecting ponies since they first came out way back when in the eighties. I still have some of my original G1 herd; now-n-then generosity, careless movers, and just plumb bad luck winnowed down my hundred-plus ponies to the 'bout forty I gots left today. All in pretty okay condition, I'm releived to say, except the Pretty Parlour, which has discoloured to a funky shade of blech. I'm not a rabid collector, and once I get 'round to inventorying all my girls, I could be convinced to send some of them to good homes.

Right now, I'm kindasorta collecting the G4 FiM teensy-weensy ponies - the ones in the blindbags most everywhere elses on the planet, or on singlepony cards in TRU up here in Canada. My favourite G4s are Fluttershy (I'm a lot like her irl) and the entire Apple clan. I'm also thinking about looking for the remainder of a McDonalds set of G3 ponies I got six of when they came out in 2008. And I'm eventually going to want to get my hooves on a Minty and a Medley (both G1s) again - Minty's the first one I ever wanted, and Medley was my "me pony" whenever I played with them, and of course both were ones I lost along the way. Meh. Oh well, spilled milk and all.
My other-than-pony interests include my brony son (he's shy to admit it, but he loves watching FiM with me and hearts-him his Applejack and Dashie), working in my garden, reading historical novels, tea, and hiking. For a shy gal, I guess I do jabber on, but specially when I've found a herd of friends-to-be. :blush:
Oh, and a great big ol' thank you to MLPChief, who helped me sort out my actaully getting here and all. *hugs*

Welcome to you too! (You welcomed me in my thread) You sound like someone I'd get along with perfectly, haha. We have a lot in common actually. You sound like a very nice person!
The G4 Blindbag ponies are so cute, aren't they? It sounds like you have quite the collection going so far. I hope you enjoy your time here just as much as I do for the small time I have been here!
