Oh, such a sad/happy? day...I sold my boys (Holt, Clawd, and Gil) to a member here and I put them in the mail today. :cry: I know they'll have a better home with her, they were just stored in a box here, but seeing those pictures in the last thread REALLY made me want to keep my boys! It's not fair though...I'm not a great photographer or anything, and they weren't getting displayed, so it's really better in the end...

Had an absolutely terrible day for my anxiety (the day itself wasn't bad, but I was just feeling extra bad today)...so my fiancee was super nice and let me get the new CAM set.
Sadly it didn't make my day much better, but it did help a bit.

I love them more than I thought though. Just like the werewolf girl I have, they've got a certain personality to them, but no names yet. The cat girl is like my cat, spunky, sporadic, and gutsy (with a crazy fashion sense). The witch girl is a bookish type girl. She'd be your typical literature nut.

I took down Operetta's top of the head curls today...love her sooooo much more. I want to straighten it but I don't have my straightener atm. Is there a good boil method tutorial anywhere that anyone knows about? I've never actually done it since straighteners work so well with ponies; I would hate to melt a new doll's hair :(

I used to have a tutorial up in the sticky... it didn't transfer over from the old Arena.
Basically, boil a small pot of water (just until it starts to bubble). Pour it into a ceramic dish. Dunk the hair (your doll should have the glue washed out, and obviously be undressed/no accessories) into the water. Swirl around for a couple minutes, then remove and gently brush straight. Repeat until you get the desired results. I follow up with a quick dunk into a bowl of ice water, but mostly when I'[m setting curls.
Pat the hair dry, and gently brush it again. Let the doll air dry, then redress. Hope this helps!

PSA: BE CAREFUL WITH THE CAT SHOES. My left one snapped at the part where the strap connected to the shoe. It's broken, but you can still have the shoe on while the doll is standing.

Like Rhini says, she's been re-released in the latest signature cases. 2.0 Lagoona (the one in the romper, with the fishbone earrings and pink jellies) will also be re-released later this summer, in another signature case.
Overall, I don't anticipate the majority of older dolls to get re-released. Abbey was a special case, which they even announced on the FB page. Lagoona was not announced, she's just been listed as being included in some of the future cases. Abbey was insanely popular, and was released shortly as the craze really hit. Lagoona was single packed and only included in one case assortment. So I guess they're giving people another chance to get these two.

Thanks for responding. So, when you say case is that like a double pack: Lagoona and Abbey?No, case refers to the box they ship to the stores, called a case pack. Mattel will put a certain number of dolls in each box, then ships it out to their retailers. For example, a case pack would have something like 1x robecca, 1X venus, and 2x abbey etc etc. All just regular dolls sold separately. It just tells the retailer what and how many of each is in the cardboard boxes they get shipped.

Edit: I just noticed something. The CAM Lab werecat heads have ears on the sides of their heads, AND the set comes with clip on ears. Am I to understand that that kitty will have FOUR freaking ears once I build her? Yeah, I'm kinda weirded out by that. The werewolf CAM doesn't have ears on the sides of her head, does she?
you have to use the lab to adhere the decals to the body :\ probably would look better to have it customized. I don't understand why the add-ons are showing up for pre-o before the lab itself *scritches head*

I have pretty awful OCD so I'm wondering the same thing. I think I'd drive myself insane painting the eyes. Wouldn't necessarily be too difficult if you just try to make it in the style of a doll you already have. Just try to copy it and paint reeeally slow but I can already see myself getting frustrated, wiping the paint off hundreds of times and eventually giving up because it's not how I want it.. XDNEVER THOUGHT I'D WANT A CAM PACK. BUT..UNICORN. I ..CANNOT AND WILL NOT RESIST.

That's good to know. While I care little about Redakai and Bakugan, I like Zoobles and I like La Dee Da (at least the clothes and the heads since if they lack joints I am going to be giving them new bodies) and I don't want the company to go under.

I especially am loving the Dead Tired girls and the CAMs right now. Sometimes it's hard being reminded that everyone else gets to have lives and adventures, but the Dead Tired dolls are all in their PJs, like me, and just want to hang out! The CAMs are wonderfully distracting -- trying to find the right combination of body parts, then the right wigs, the right outfit, the right name -- it makes the time pass by a lot faster!
And obviously I'm a big fan of Ghoulia. :lovey: But I love all my MH girls!
(That includes the dozen more I have stored. They're mostly doubles of Lala, Lagoona, and Frankie.)

Why don't you try cutting the peg out? That's what I did with mine, and they fit great! You don't even need an X-acto knife, I was able to cut the pegs out with scissors~

Has anyone ever tried parting Abbey's hair to the side? I've found that if you part it, she looks a lot softer somehow. My love for my Abbey increased dramatically when I did that.

Sweet 1600 and Dot Dead are much simpler than Ghouls Rule. Dot Dead Ghoulia's dress reminds me of Sweet 1600 Frankie's and Operetta's reminds me of Draculaura's. I myself tend to think of Ghouls Rule as the red carpet awards show dress and the Sweet 1600 and Dot Dead are like the after party dress.

Dot Dead Gorgeous has not been released yet at all, the witch and cat CAM pack has only just been release and is still not widely distributed through all states as far as I know (but I may be wrong) and I personally think DoD Ghoulia is prettiest ;)thank you! ^.^ i managed to find a few things in Big W which was good. At least the collections are much easier to find than Ponies!
And woot another Australian collector =) Most releases have eventually found their way to our stores so don't stress only a few haven't been sighted here yet. I've never seen Lagoona 2.0, Gill, the DoD 3 pack, Gloom Beach 5 pack and CAM packs. Everything else has come here...eventually.

Ah, it depends what sort of pretty you like in regards to Ghoulia. Here are my thoughts on the four I have:
DOTD - big beautiful hair, lovely face, dark lips, gorgeous eyes. I adore her.
GB - straight hair, fierce face. She's edgy.
Fearleading - the sweetest looking. Luscious hot pink lips, great wave to her hair.
SS: Very 1950s look. Short hair, lovely red lips.
Oh, who am I kidding? You can't pick one! Buy em all!

The postal person left it sitting out in the sun, it was pretty warm when I got home, so I didn't bother warming it up. But maybe it wasn't warm enough. Also, I think I may have stirred it too fast.
Did you warm it slightly before mixing? This would keep it from creating bubbles.

So this is what the real Scarah Screams looks like. Meh. I'll pass. I preferred the prototype myself. I don't like what they've done with her hair here, and I liked the prototype's pumps better as well. I wouldn't mind having her leather skirt, though.

So you get two dolls with Scarah? Wish I knew who the other would be...I'll end up kicking myself if it's Heath, I'm dying for them to make a Heath doll.
I got impatient and ended up pulling the custom shoe out of the mold, lol. It stretched just a little but I was able to push it back into shape. I've got to figure out a way to keep the resin from being so full of bubbles. :/ The bubbles messed up the back part pretty bad. But overall, I'm really pleased, this was my very first time to cast anything with resin. Also, I had a some other small molds I'd made and I cast a couple of doll buckles and a gear. I had a couple of other gear castings and doll earrings, but they didn't turn out right. I can't wait to try this with some dye and glitter!!!

You're so lucky if that's the case, looks like mines going to be coming from NZ lolYep, we've got tons of Spectras here in NZ! I'm selling a few on eBay at the moment. Most of the stores around here have at least two or three. One of the Kmarts I went to the other day had six (and that was almost all they had for MH).

Not to mention, if it's Target, their website uses the same SKU for tracking. So when they have the newest waves in stock ... often the older dolls show up as in stock as well. Rochelle is nice, but why did they give her such thick hair? It interferes with her wings. Grrr. They should be giving Frankie thicker hair! I have yet to see a CAM starter pack sadly. DX
And I tweaked my cat girl CAM. Switched out her head with the dragon CAM head (I like the face better and FANGS), stuck wings on her and gave her a new wig which still needs touch ups. I was worried I screwed her up because I left her in her old outfit, but after I changed her outfit up she looks MUCH nicer. I think I'll keep her out of the America's Next Top Monster entry though, don't think she's verstile much. :D

I'm so exited! My local target has just /massivly/ stocked up on monster high, they used to just have one end cap and now they have the end cap and half of an aisle. They now have more shelf space then barbie and they even have a glass display of dolls o_O They also had LOADS of Cleos vanity, Jackson, Rochelle and Abbey in stock so I had to snatch up Abbey and Rochelle, then I went to a mr. toys toyworld and they had both of them for $25 instead of the $30 per doll that I paid at target /grumbles/ They also had Frankies bed and Draculauras coffin. It's so great Australia is finally catching up on MH now :D Still waiting for the CaMs though, they are so awesome!
I also started sewing a matching shirt and skirt for Rochelle but unfortunatly the elastic container has gone missing so I can't finish it off just yet. I'm also nearly finished a monster high custom I am making out of my broken Ghoulia, Jacqueline Fost, daughter of Jack Frost. I just have to finish up painting her legs, hands and paint her eyes on but I keep putting the eyes off because I don't want to wreck her face and have to start it over entirely D:

I didn't even think to look up the Roller Maze girls on eBay.. and aaaaa! I totally want the Frankie and Lagoona for my fiance, he loves them both (he didn't think he'd like Lagoona.. but just a little work and she could have adorable bangs!)

The CAM heads are completely bald except for a square hole on the crown that's used for putting the wig on. The older CAMs have heads that are completely soft around that hole, but the newer ones have hard caps around the hole that prevent rerooting.

Oh my gosh, she's incredible! I'm so in love with her. Ugh, seems we still haven't gotten Rochelle in Canada yet (I checked stores all over town yesterday and they'd restocked with the Retta/Nef/Tora/Cleo wave! >_< ) so who knows when we'll ever see Venus up north.
I like picking out my dolls in person too (and oh yes, taking apart entire shelves to compare faces, yup!) so I haven't broken down and ordered Rochelle online yet, but I'm getting reeeally twitchy.
I finally bought Nefara today. I blame Tuney and his fabulous pics. XD She looks stunning once you get her hair out of that colander thing. And the shoes are completely epic. I also picked up the new fashion packs for Clawdeen and Abbey. I wanted the Lagoona one but they didn't have it. I'm looking for the shoes from Lagoona's fashion pack, if anyone would be willing to trade them for the shoes from Clawdeen's fashion pack.

Ugh I hope that isn't how the actual pack will be. While torsos were important at least they can be cast in resin. Upper arms and legs have too many moving parts for casting to be a viable option. The only option is repaints (which often chip) using the extra parts from the old sets.

Yeah, I was originally excited by that pack but I'm really let down if that is the final product. The prototypes also showed lip indentations on the heads while the boxed pic is showing them as flat (though it may just be that photo). I guess it would be easier for kids to line up the mouth decals without it, but it just looks odd that way.
I think I'm going to be giving these a pass as far as my collection goes, though I know my niece would probably love them and it's still a creative concept for it's target audience. It just stinks if they're back to leaving out pieces to make a complete doll and forcing their customers to buy other colored sets/outside parts just to make the advertised character on the box.
I don't like making major changes to my dolls. I figure somewhere down the line Mattel will release a Rochelle with short hair. I just hope that happens really soon, because Tuney has me eyeing the hair trimmers >_<

i got gloom beach cleo on ebay for $16 shipped :D i think i'm going to just get my favorite doll of each character and buy the outfits separately instead of stockpiling an army of clones. getting lagoona's 2.0 outfit has gotta be cheaper than springing $80 for the whole doll -_-

Give in! Give in! :biggrin: Best prices are at Walmart and Superstore (but Superstore is usually way far behind on new releases). Toys R Us and Zellers are expensive, but sometimes they'll have good discounts in their flyers. Hope that helps~

I've also seen a few photos where this seems to be the case but I can't tell if it's just the lighting. Does anyone here have her pack with pink accents? I'm interested in finding out if this is a legit variant.

I think they are comparing it to the blue version... the skirt in that pack is more of a lavendel/blue-purple than the one I have. And I do think I have the one they call "pink"..wich is more like a pink-purple color rather than the other blue-purple.

~ grow up in suburban America in the 80s and 90s, constantly bombarded with "collect the whole set!" consumerism
~ start collecting every Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition rulebook and novel I can find in the 90s
~ move to NZ in the noughties and get back into D&D, collecting 3.5 Edition rulebooks
~ decide to start DMing a game and so start collecting D&D Miniatures
~ get into the Star Wars Saga Edition roleplaying game and start collecting Star Wars Miniatures
~ Wizards of the Coast ends both the DDM and SWM lines ... start looking for something to fill the void
~ discover Friendship is Magic on youtube while searching for MLP videos to show my daughters
~ get hooked on FiM ... not only is it way better than the vapid "party party" G3-era crap, but it also appeals to the D&D gamer in me with all the mythological monsters and such
~ start buying G4 ponies for my daughters, begin to want them myself

~ see the Fall 2012 TRU-exclusive "Fan Favorites" collectors set with Lemon Hearts (my favorite background pony!) and throw out the thirteen pony limit
~ start getting exposed to Monster High dolls via my MLP friends on Flickr
~ order Frankie and Nefera on Amazon
~ go f'ing nuts ordering MH dolls on eBay and go all over Auckland looking in the shops
~ join MLP Arena and Dollymarket to aid in my search for the elusive must-have MH dolls
And that's about it. I have no intention of moving on to more expensive doll lines. Some of those pullips are cute and all, but luckily they're still a little too girly for me. Hopefully the next step in my progress won't be "~ get killed by my wife for spending too much money on dolls" :blush:

I like DT Ghoulia because her hair gets a bit of a wave. And it's got more body. Though not as awesome of DoTD Ghoulia with that FABO hair.
The glue seepage will be sticky... Sort of like there's honey in it. You can temporary use goof off (I think that's the one?) to remove it but it will come back. There's no fix other than to rehair and possibly send Mattel an email to express your concerns. It seems to only happen with dolls marked as Indonesia. :< I really hope they do something about this. No one wants to spend $20 on a doll and then have it ruin itself.
Said pants will be for Gargoyle Boy. I hope we get them in Canada soon. I hope we get them PERIOD and scalpers don't beat me there :(

DT Ghoulia is an awesome doll. Although her hair still has a different texture, it's long and straight, which I find is a good combo for her hair type. Short and curly? Not so much. DT Ghoulia is one of my favorite dolls. SS Ghoulia? Not so much. I tried and tried with her hair. I just couldn't get in right. Good news? I get a second shot with the SS 5 pack, whenever that gets released.
Well, 1600 Clawd is no $20 doll at the moment. It figures the first doll I'm having this problem with is a kinda rare doll. He's no Howleen, but he is a male, which makes him "worth" more (Ebay standards.) Oh well. I'm not too broken up. It makes his styling to be much easier :biggrin: I'm just sad because if you want him, you have to PAY for him, and that's for a defective doll. Could one find a 1600 Clawd made outside of Indonesia? Or are certain lines made in certain countries?

My Indonesia dolls are starting to show glue seepage too. Rochelle's was kind of limp straight out of the box. My signature Ghoulia's is the worst though and the only one I've tried washing with soap so far. I'll have to buy some Goof-off, even if it's just a temporary fix. Very aggravating to spend as much as I have on these dolls to have this happen. And seems like most of them are made in Indonesia. Rehairing one or two wouldn't be so bad but rehairing 20?!
I have to say though. What I love about the collecting world is that people step outside of gender roles. :D Here you have 'get killed by my wife' and I have 'get killed by my fiancee(male)'.LOL. Well, it's a good thing I live on the other side of the world from my family, because otherwise my mother and sisters would be sending me away to the funny farm. They all think I've lost my mind apparently. I guess it was a mistake to send more of my doll purchases to my parents' house. It was just convenient because she said she was putting together a care package for my daughters. Ah well.

Story Time!
So a while back I decided to make a dead tired ghoulia (don't much care for the doll) into a custom. Well it was my first attempt and I learned a lot. So when I got payed last friday I decided to pick up a CAM set with the wear wolf. I did a ton of research and found that the recomended paint was Krylon Fusions for plastic for the body...yeah...it didn't work so well. I tried to remove the paint figuring I would just use the gray base instead of a white one (The custom was based on a Panda) well...turns out Acitone eats monster high dolls....I had a gooey melted mess of a leg and torso. I had to toss it and start over ;-;
Well because I was so upset i went to Toys R Us to get myself a doll that I planned on leaving alone. All they had was an overstock of black and white Frankie and 1600 dolls...While I want Frankie, I still wanted something else. My roommate got off work and we decided to hit Target. There we found the sea monster pack and the witch pack!! I bought one and she bought the other. After a while of playing this is what we came up with.
Monster High Exchange Students!!
Nessie Lochs - Daughter of the Loch Ness Monster. She hails from Scottland. She is made from the sea monster and has the boots from the dragon CAM set and a Navy Blue/Blonde Liv Wig. She has a pleated plaid skirt (bratz) and a black leather jacket with a white tank under it (bratz again) Her hair is clipped back to the side with the red barrette from the CAM vampire set
Envy Green - Daughter of the Jealousy Monster (france) She is made from the witch with the short haired purple wig and the dragon wings. She has the shoes from the sea monster CAM, the black T-shirt from the witch set, the over ruffle shirt from the Sea Monster set and the hat too. The jeans are from Bratz
Nora Feratu -Daughter of Nosferatu (Balgaria) and cousin to Draculara - She is made from the vampire CAM with an auburn/red Liv wig. She has black pleather pants (bratz) and the top from the vamp set. The one with the bat. Her shoes are from the witch set...the kitties.
Catarina - Daughter of Bast - Even though she technically hails from egypt, she's been purrowling around England. She is made from the cat CAM and has a pair of bratz jeans with a tutu over em. Her top is from the dragon CAM (green one) and she goes barefoot. She has a blond wig in pigtails.
Pandara - She is the custom. She came to be when a giant panda accidentally opened Pandora's box in search of bamboo. She's from Japan
I'll have pics of all of em tomorrow. I just had to tell all my ideas!
Yay, I made a dress out of a sock lol. Stitching on the hem isn't too straight, but not bad...I wish my mom hadn't given her sewing machine to my sister >_<Very cute! I'm going to be making some sock dresses soon as well. I can't wait to see what else you make. c:

I am loving the sock dress! Almost makes me want to start experimenting on my own. But I don't sew. For a loss of 30 cents a dress though, I should try :)Don't want to sew? Fabritac is your friend. ^_^ Sticks instantly and dries fast. The main problem I have with it is that it can soak through the fabric and it will show on the other side, but it's more a problem with thin fabric. But despite that, this is some of the *best* stuff ever invented, it's what I used to put the bows on my MH apron. I use Fraycheck on my seams sometimes to keep the fabric from fraying. If you use it, use as little as possible or sometimes it'll show. It's kind of smelly, though, but it works pretty good.
So...which new doll(s) are y'all lookin forward to most?

I have done two dolls so far, and they seem like they take forever. I also put in waaaay too much hair because I can't stand the empty spots. I will learn eventually!!
I don't usually time but it can take 20+ hours to do the job right. Not all at once or anything, I usually space it out a few days and warn people that it'll take up to a week per head (because naturally there are other things I have to do as well) but that's the low side. If, like Tuney's skeleton, there is more hair needed it'll take longer or one skeleton girl I did I ad to tie two colors of hair per plug, etc. the 6 hr kinda surprised me XD

Come to find out the seller (who has perfect feedback) completely forgot to mail her out to me. :/ I contacted them on the 1st to get the tracking number. I contacted them again on the 4th, and then the 5th. Just this morning (the 6th) did I finally get a real answer. They couldn't find my mailing slip and are "resending" the doll. I'm just disappointed. At least they say they are going to send the doll. Odd thing though, I thought they only had one of her. I am now wondering if the photo they used was a stock pic. I took my time before choosing which auction to go for based on pictures. I even paid a little more to get a doll that looked like it had a nice face. I am just hoping that I get what I thought I paid for, which is the doll in their pic. *sigh* >>Edit/update - After searching through the seller's feedback, I saw an older listing for Rochelle, with the same pic... So yes, I did waste my time trying to pick the doll with the best face. *grumble*

I'm just disappointed. At least they say they are going to send the doll. Odd thing though, I thought they only had one of her. I am now wondering if the photo they used was a stock pic. I took my time before choosing which auction to go for based on pictures. I even paid a little more to get a doll that looked like it had a nice face. I am just hoping that I get what I thought I paid for, which is the doll in their pic. *sigh* >>Edit/update - After searching through the seller's feedback, I saw an older listing for Rochelle, with the same pic... So yes, I did waste my time trying to pick the doll with the best face. *grumble*

Does anyone have a tutorial for rehairing them, how many holes to put in the head, etc? I'm wanting to have a go at it when i can get some hair colors...I'm not sure what you mean? There are tons of tutorials if you just google "reroot monster high", it's really the same as a pony on a somewhat larger scale as they have many more plugs.

Often for stubborn shoes, I also use my hair dryer on a low heat setting. My hands are usually freezing XD
Did you try taking the chains off Spectra's fashion pack boots? I found they slipped on pretty easily once I removed them. Then I slipped them on, once the shoes were on her feet.Yeah they are stubborn but they don't seem to be worth it to even put them on her since I honestly don't like them much. I did take the chain off them before putting them on (I slid it up her leg then put the shoe on and tried to slide it down over the shoe) but it kept getting stuck. @___@
Of course, then I discovered that I preferred the signature boots... too much translucence at the ankle lol.

Definately not, which is why I was curious how many of them, or how many of the nylon I need. DXGo to the normal nylon page on DH and get the barbie length one. It'll be plenty of hair and long enough for an MH doll.

I'm one who loves the Daughter of Arachne prototype. I never noticed her little fangs or glitter eye shadow before, but it makes me love her more. I actually think she would be the most 'monsterous' ghoul yet, given how many people seem to be shuddering at her, even just judging by the responses int his thread.
The whole point of these dolls is its ok to be different, she's very different, and is perfect for this line. Everyone's gut 'eww spiders' reaction is very telling.
I love spiders. Very misunderstood creatures. It's funny because where I live we can get some that are whoppers in size and a lot of people kill them as soon as they see them and then turn around and complain they hate all the millipedes and other creepy crawlies what not they have. So they spend needless money on raid/mortein and hurt their own lungs and the environment at the same time.
Anyway, enough of the pro spider propaganda from me.
Arachne would have been a perfect SDCC release, Scarah has to be released with Hoodude because she's too dull on her own. I can't see her being released as a basic doll though, due to the reactions in this thread. Sucks :(

Sounds like you DoA fans should send a letter and a down payment to that guy who makes the double-headed torsos. If he can add an extra head to the shoulders, I'm sure he can figure out how to get extra arm sockets into the torso. Lord knows there's enough extra limbs from the CAM packs floating around.

Many retailers had trouble getting rid of their first Cleo & Deuce packs, that's why I suspect it took so long to get Draculaura 2.0 and Clawd... I guess that's what Mattel has set RRP to though :( . It's a bit weird because it's just the price of two dolls, not any kind of discount that you'd think would be there... anyways /rant

The one eye looks smaller, and is not properly aligned on the eye part of her face. I guess it is not too bad, but I know if I had a choice I wouldn't have chosen her. I am not sure what to do. I know the seller already had trouble with me because they forgot to mail my package in the beginning. I'm worried if I bring this up they will think I am just a problem buyer. *sigh*
What would you do? I really don't want to have to buy the doll all over again. I love her clothes and hair, and her face at least doesn't have any dark dots in a weird place. I guess I could try repainting the eye. Not sure how good of a match it would be though, I think the eyelashes would be super hard! -- Then again I could mention it to the seller and see what they say. I have been non-stop stalking Etsy for shoes but I don't know if I can justify spending that much on shoes unless I know how good they are...But since you guys own some..Mine (from Topologie) are not rubbery, no, but the resin does have a little bit of a flex to it. Mostly you just stick the toes in at an angle and kind of twist them on. The ones I bought seem pretty high-quality and sturdy. I'm very happy with them! :heart:

Luckyyyyyy!!! I want Wave 2 Lagoona so bad. I'd even pay outlandish eBay prices if I had that much.I got lucky. Found one that didn't sell on eBay as part of a lot and contacted the buyer. She hadn't sold it yet. I suggested a trade and she recently got back to me asking to trade for a DotD Deuce. Her Lagoona is still NIB. She says she doesn't like the wave 2 dolls as much. its totally worth it to paint Cupid's lips!!!Cupid looks so much better with fully painted lips. I feel like it would've been better if they'd made her lips puckered rather than just putting a little heart-shaped blob of lipstick on her lips. It just looks silly.

Does anyone else have some serious self control issues? I have a very specific list of dolls I wanted to stick to and somehow I ended with with 5 that weren't on there. Unfortunately, they're not compatible with standard MH bodies without a bit of modding. I don't know why Mattel likes making things incompatible with others, but there you go.

It's a lot cheaper for me to order a book from the Book Depository, with its worldwide free shipping, than it is to go to the local bookstore and buy it there. But with a doll, it's probably not any more cost effective to order it from the States and have it shipped here. I've only done that with the majority of my MH collection simply because most of the ones I wanted aren't available here yet (or are already long gone).

DT Lagoona's hair straightens up nicely! You just have to run it under super hot water and brush it downwards in sections.Speaking of which.. YOU SHOULD POST MORE PICTURES OF HER.. :'D
Also: OMGI was just thinking that the CAM skeleton girl would've been way better if she'd looked more like an actual skeleton instead of girl dressed up in skeleton costume or something. Not only does this torso look way better, but she also needs a head without a protruding nose ...

Skeleton upper arms/thighs or the regular kind? If they could figure out a way to make them and sell them cheaply, they would get A LOT of business. Mattel's making more torsos, there's all those lovely custom ones on the market but how can you put them together without the parts? :( The thighs might not be a huge issue but the little jointed peg for the upper arms? Ugh.
One thing you could do if you were making a custom torso, though, is reshape the parts so that the upper arms and thighs fit in like BJD limbs to do away with the knee for the custom parts to have pegs.
I saw them at TRU last week. There was... 7 of them, I believe.

Yeah, I noticed that about the upper arms and torso. I could always try to somehow modify her current one or try to find a good enough match. My biggest worry was the head on the body. Her stock torso/legs don't actually "match" her lower legs/arms due to the gradiant paint anyways so it probably won't bother me too much. I'll try to look around and see what can be done. Poor Spectra.. ;_;

I'm starting to neeeeeeeed Scarah though!! oh my....Just bear in mind that the Scarah in those new photos looks more like the prototype version than the final version shown in the box. Personally, I prefer the prototype to the final, particularly in terms of her shoes and her hair, so I'm still undecided. And I don't want Hoodude. Sigh ...

It's not perfect, but I think this is as close as you can get without re-rooting. I just carefully separated the green stripe in the back and tried to lay it out evenly. Not bad I guess, better than one big skunk stripe. LOL!

It is entirely possible that she will come with recolored Bee Girl shoes -- it's really hard to tell in all the in box photos i have seen.The shoes she's wearing in the box photos look different to me.
But the newest Frankie Fashion pack has the 3-eyed Ghoul's shoes recolored. So it wouldn't be the first time they reused a shoe mold

She looks great! I love how even the turquoise looks in her hair. :) I really enjoy seeing photos of Rochelle because each one is different in some way and it makes them all seem so unique. She's definitely one of my favorite dolls in this franchise.
Mine has a good amount of turqoise in the back but it's mostly gravitated to one side. It's half and half, almost right down the middle, with pink on one side and turquoise on the other.

He is not being released again until next year, I rung Mattel UK. I have been after him since he was first released. I am so gutted I still don't have him :( He's a major grail for me, I've given up buying ponies to save for him, I'm hoping someone will sell him or trade him to me! :( If necessary, I will wait until next year, but that will be really hard! xxx
