Title: Quetzalcoatl update and I need hair styling advice!

Okay so I've been working on her for quite a while, she's finally painted mostly... except I have to make really big feathered wings for her yet, just not sure how I want to go about doing that yet, and I'm getting a bit low on apoxie sculpt.


I need some advice on how to style her hair... if anyone has suggestions I'd be grateful. She is going to have both a mane and a tail... I was thinking about doing her hair short and mohawkish at the top and making it longer at the bottom... or maybe some sort of updo with it spikey at the top... I dunno... I could really use some advice or suggestions

Oh and I have to add more to her back too, the orange piece you see going down to her tail hole... it's actually gonna be a full snake tail with a rattle at the end, but I want to put in nylon hair too beneath it, so I haven't done the full tail yet.

Wow that is one rockin pony! Love the headpiece, and that snake and those claws. Love it all, great pony!!

mohawk would be my first thought.
longer hair would cover sculpt details and most likely wouldn't lay right

yeah, that's why I'm thinking just having it longer near the bottom, or maybe an updo

really unsure on the hair (though mohawk sounds good) either way that pony is awesome!!!!

i would say long hair (but not so long), because could looks saturate if he has a mohawk, also the mexican prehispanic people used the long hair

You could always go with business in the front and a party in the back. Aka a Mullet.

I agree with others, I think the mohawk would look the best. I can't wait to see what this looks like when finished, the sculpting looks great!

thanks!, and yeah I think I might do like a super thick mohawk, I'll add in like 2 rows and completely fill the space I have with hair, I think that will look best so it's nice and thick :3 I think I might leave it long towards the bottom, I can always trim it later if it gets in the way :3
