There's a nice Rapunzel on Ebay now (can't link the auction per Arena rules), but her color looks a bit off to me. The pink looks a bit dark, and her eyes look pale pink/purple instead of blue. Is it just me, or is her color a bit off? Or are there variations that I don't know about? Or is it just the camera?

I'm gonna go with camera. The whole image is wayyyy on the red side.

I'm pretty sure it's the camera. The pictures look really saturated, though the close-up of her symbol almost looks normal compared to the other two. :awake:

I agree, I see that alot on eBay.

Yeah...looks like someones camera is off or someone upped the saturation a little too much! I have seen this kind of thing alot most recently with a Princess Royal Blue when someone must have dialled the red up in photoshop!

Any idea what she'll end up going for in the end? What do you all think she's worth?

$450 to $500 is a good price for her - she was a little lower than that a couple of months ago but she has popped back up in price in the last month or so. Although the 2 most recently that sold - one had her accessories which made her sales price an absolute bargain at $500 and the other was well over her normal price but she looked as though she was in immaculate condition so I guess someone would drop an extra couple of hundred $ for that.
This one looks to have some tangled hair issues and the colour images issues may but put people off but I still would "guess" she ll fall around the $400-450 mark by the end of the auction.

Well, she went for $375 in the end, plus $6 for S&H. Daaaang. I almost thought about bidding, but I'm out so much money on ponies as it is, lol. Someone with username h***e won. I wonder if it's anyone on here? ;-)

I was going to ask this same thing for a Masquerade I saw that appeared white. It's probably the camera for the Rapunzel as well, though.

That's sweet of you. She's not my grail, but wow... wouldn't it be AWESOME to find her for a few dollars at a garage sale or flea market? ;-)

It's happened before! I can vaguely remember someone finding one at a thrift store within the last several months and someone else got one for ~$5 at a toy fair a ways back :)

Not in the UK unfortunately! She wasnt released over here...so unless someone brought her over from the States, alas we UKers have to stick it out on ebay and the Arena !
As Glacia said though I have in the past read a couple of threads with people who have found her for a song in thrift stores in the US! That must be a wow moment!
