Title: Sun Halo
Post by: hyenacub on May 12, 2012, 09:15:53 PM: Hey! I just had to share my pics of this absolutely gorgeous sun halo that presented itself during my garage sale. It's a 22 degree circle halo...and my pictures don't even do it justice.

Post by: invaderhorizongreen on May 15, 2012, 04:08:59 PM: Those are always fun to see and have you ever seen sun dogs? they are diamond shaped patches of light on either side of the sun, when they are around the moon they are called moon dogs. I have also seen a rainbow ring around the moon too.

Post by: hyenacub on May 15, 2012, 04:35:07 PM: I love sun dogs! I've never seen moondogs except in photographs, though. Nor the 22 halo around th moon. I've seen the close-around moon halo though. Halos fascinate me.
