Title: Bubbles Merpony
Post by: lovelauraland on May 12, 2012, 12:58:18 PM: Bubbles was a commission for the lovely *EllisPONY
So this is Bubbles made in the style of a merpony with tons of bubbles and micro rainbow beads.
I have always wanted to do Bubbles as a merpony so this was fun to work on
her tail is made from tin foil and apoxie sculpt and her fins are made from wire and fantasy film with lots of micro beads and slight metallic paint shimmer
I have re-rooted her in blue nylon hair and placed it up in a bun.
her eyes are re-painted in shades of blue.

Im assuming all the wires were flat when you glued them down to the fantasy film. Im just wondering how safe it is to curve the wires when making wings and stuff, and when is the best time to do so.

thanks, the tail was glued to the fantasy film and left over night and then covered over in glass paint to make it secure, then heat was added to it to make it stretch and the edges were cut. hope this helps :)
