Hi guys, a few people know that for 2 weeks I went on a very strict diet, well here I am nearly 4 weeks down the line and on consolidation and.... in total over the 2 weeks and a few days lost 5.6 kilograms! I have kept all of this weight off as well. I'd like to mention that I was on the verge of being overweight, and now I am happy, extremely healthy and I have got vitality back in my life. Even better, I am learning what affects my IBS, I can eat as MUCH as I want of food and I have completely cut sugar out of my life. I eat stevia as an alternative and it is 40X sweeter than sugar. Last night I ate my first proper pudding, (I ate grapefruit, strawberries or an orange for 2 weeks) I made my own vanilla panna cotta. This means I can now have milk and cream and my body accepts them! Yaay! I also tested eggs in an omelette and my body accepts eggs as well, yay for extra variety! Basically, the reason my doctor and I agreed to put me on the diet is because I suffered with IBS for 9 years and very severely last year, and the diet is an elimantion diet where you test foods for reactions so you know what will trigger IBS. I appreciate food so much more now, I feel superb, my skin is glowing and fresh (Teenagers including me ususally always get spots- they were awful!) and my hair is stronger, stays cleaner longer, and internally I feel revitalised.
I even had a piece of dark chocolate, and so far so good. I just wanted to share this with you, as I am so proud of myself and want to give a huge amount of love and thanks to people who have supported me (and thank you mum!)
If you'd like to know what diet it was, or how well it worked, I will happily tell you! I plan on feeling this good for years to come!
