Thought I'd show these from TaoBao in case some don't shop or look around there. (I know I don't. That's how I found out about these just now.)

I don't own any of them and the selection of characters is pretty nice.
I also like these new packaging designs. Apart from that...guess my wallet is safe.

The wedding ponies are cute, but I don't need another version of the Mane 6.
The blindbags in a "not so blind" release is nice for collectors who couldn't get the figures they wanted. A few of those look like Wave 2, or other versions of brushable ponies, which is nice. The accessories look fun for kids, but the ponies alone are enough for me. ^^

What I'm really looking forward to are the new ponies in the wedding line - not only the bride and groom, but also the other wedding ones I saw teased on Hasbro's Facebook page - Lyra, Trixie, and a few others. :)

The accessories that comes with the Bridle friends set are the exact same ones from the Celebration at Canterlot Castle/Canterlot Castle. So no point in getting them. The blind bags are a Meh because I don't collect them.

@ RedheadedBeauty: Celestia & Twilight set is the exact same thing, just different box.

And from what I've been told, they have been used in a previous generation already.

I'm not happy that we've been flooded with core six at every turn as a collector I don't like where this line seems to be headed. Granted the acessories are cute but I don't see why they need to re do a pony three or more times just to give her new trinkets

Can't they just make acessory packs? wouldn't that be more cost effective?

Yeah, the least they can do is release the main characters in new poses. Poses that are a bit more interesting than "the same pose just with one leg slightly raised". Or maybe change up their Cutie marks a bit. (No, i don't care about show accuracy.) The G3 core 7 ponies had at least some different cutie marks. >.<

I only need 5 of them, and Blossomforth, the one and only wave 2 blind bag in that set happens to be one of them. Oh, and I have all the others and don't collect accessories so I'd love to avoid buying the set, but I'm not sure I'd be able to pass up finally finding a Blossomforth. I don't understand why they could use all wave 2 blind bags, or better yet, a mix of wave 2 and 3 so there can be some of the boys. I'm sure if they added Big Mac and Noteworthy to the set, it would sell so much better.

Yes but all thats on Taobao is what must be Wave 1 of the Royal Wedding items - as in addition to the pics at the start of this post there are Fluttershy and Daisy Dreams Glimmer Wings in Royal Wedding branded boxes and the Celestia/TS/Spike Story Pack which has already been released but has now been re-boxed in Royal Wedding branding [because its getting a rerelease in the same case as the Flower Girls]

If it didn't work the first time with these re-releases, what makes them think that doing it again will make it work?!

Why they think ANYONE would want three dozen of the same pony is just beyond my comprehension :P (That blind bag set might actually be cute if it came with new ponies, though. The other re-issues, not so much.)

Re-releases and soon-to-be re-releases.
Can't wait for wave2 to hit the US, since it kind of just blazed through the shelves in Europe (or atleast Austria). It was in stores for like only 2 months... Got me a couple before in November and before Xmas, Then in late January, they were already replaced by wave 3.
I shall have my missing ponies!

Okay, some people on another site are saying that Shining Armor and Cadance's wedding cake was originally used in another, possibly mermaid pony because of the seashells, set. Any know if it's true?

I agree it's disappointing. You'd think hasbro would at least include *something* new to make it worthwhile. But I think they are now intending to turn the G4 line into what the G3s was, mostly re-releases.

This didn't happen with G1 so much. BUT...would it be such a stretch to only re-release a few of the mane 6 and chuck in a load of new/background characters? Seriously this would have whizzed me off so much as a kid! Enough probably to make me not want ponies anymore because I can't have a new one if there is the same thing on the shelves all the time :(

Of the Blindbags, we have: 9 ponies (Sweetie Blue, Sweetie Swirl, Flower Wishes, Lily Blossom, Sugar Grape, Pepper Dance, Lemon Hearts, Bumblesweet and Firecracker Burst) from wave 01 and 3 ponies (Blossomforth, Lulu Luck and Rainbow Flash) from wave 2. I big want to the set.

I already posted Int'l Luna and Celestia set months ago!
