Title: avengers assemble seen it ? spoilers !?

cos i did and it was bloody amazing  :nerdy: :iconclap: !!!!!!joss done good  :worshippy:  10 /10 !!!!!!! so any body else seen it ? i loved the hulk punching thor of the screen and what he does to loki (sp?) and the usual spot the stan lee cameo  :what:  !!! xaflame

I saw it last night...
Now I did love it but I also found it very rushed. The characters were awesome and I'm a little bit in love with Thor but they didn't bother to explain a lot of things (or maybe I just missed them). For example how Loki escaped from the prison and why Hulk suddenly decided he wouldn't attack his comrades any more.
I am looking forwards to seeing it again though!

Doesn't come otu until May 4th, but being the total comic book geek I am, and loving Iron Man I will sooooo be there though my comic book movie this year will be Batman, no doubt.

Hmmm, Loki I'm not sure on. Wasn't Hawkeye/Barton on the ship at that point? Wouldn't surprise me if he let Loki out before heading to the bridge/control center. Though I don't believe that actually showed how Loki got out indeed.

In regards to the Hulk. This may be my personal interpretation of the info we did get, but I had the feeling that while he'd end up out of control when taken by surprise (like by that explosion), he's learned to somewhat control the transformation otherwise, and when he transforms by his own will, the Hulk's a fairly alright guy. He stated a time or 2 that he had a trick to not randomly transforming so much anymore, and we had that statement from him at the end, "I'm always angry". I kind of interpreted it as him being able to transform at will.

My only critisism currently is that the portal device had a magical off switch built in, that felt a tad Deus Ex Machina. >>
You were fully under Loki's control, but you built in a safety just in case?
In the grand scheme of things however, it doesn't at all ruin the movie for me.

Not seen it, but we had the premiere here yesterday and the theater was packed! Not a seat available when the first show started and the other one that began half an hour later was almost as full. I was so envious of the people who were to see it. I had to stand behind the disk an serve the watchers popcorns and soda, lol. Oh man.. Can't wait to see it for myself.

It was AMAZING!! went home dancing and singing black sabbath's Iron man XD He's just out of this world *faints* 100/10 everyone in the cinema were laughing and clapping all the time^^

It was FANTASTIC. Highlights for me included the Iron Man vs Thor scene, the 'He's adopted' line and the Hulk punching Thor and using Loki as a flail xD Hopefully seeing it again this weekend!

YES!!  And I want to see it again.  So. Much. Pretty.  How the heck did they manage a cast like that?  All of the Avengers are utter eye candy.

And then there's the case of Tom Hiddleston/Loki, who over the last few days I've become a tad obsessed with.  Oh deary me *heart flutters*.

As for how Loki escaped from the prison.  I seem to remember a moment where, I think, the door had been opened, but Thor rushed up to stop him escaping, but Loki teleported/projected and was outside the prison while Thor ran into it - thus getting himself trapped.  "Will there ever be a time when you don't fall for that?"

OMG It was sooo hyped at the midnight premier and it lived up to it's Hype!! The fight scenes were amazing, many funny moments, the story was amazing, the whole movie worked all together. It was perfect, I have no gripe about it.

One of my favorite parts was when Hulk confronted Loki on stark tower and like a spoiled brat Loki was like "ENOUGH! You are, all of you, beneath me. I am a god you dull creature, and I will not be bullie-" *Gets grabbed by the legs from hulk* Then Hulk smashes, throws and swings him around like a rag doll.

And they didn't actually explain how Loki got out of the prison. He's a trickster/really good with magic, as he showed in Thor, he's really good at making a fake image of himself for others attack. So he had a fake-self that Thor went after while he was really safe and hiding. It doesn't show where all of his drones are during their time on the ship though, so one of them could have easily gone and let him out. Also, who else hopes that Agent Coulson isn't really dead and will come back??

It's Joss Whedon, so I highly doubt it. Knowing his track record, I bet it was difficult to keep Iron Man alive. DX I was scared there. Despite that track record with killing off beloved characters, I love Joss's ability to make a great crew interaction. :D

Absolutely awesome, just got to see it today!  I love when Hulk starts flinging Loki around!  I laughed so hard I just about cried!  I have plans to see it next weekend with my cousin and I can't wait!  I love the scene at the very end of the credits, seriously, how do they not laugh after 2 seconds of that!?!?  I also adore the humorous quips all through the movie.  Some Marvel movies have had some really slow dialogue, but this had great action, great dialogue, just great.  I can't gush enough!   :lovey: :lovey: :lovey: :lovey: :lovey:

I do love Joss, and he does have a tendency to kill people off, but this is different. Because Marvel tends to never let anyone die. We already know that Nick Fury lied about the cards, so why not Phil's death..? Also, I haven't heard anything about Avengers 2, so it might not be Joss writing/directing it again...

I saw it last night and it was AWSOME! Every bit as good as I hoped if not better. I laughed so hard for some scenes.

I was however really annoyed when people walked up and left during the end credits. Hasn't people learnt that as long as the lights are out, there are bound to be something more inte the movie? Never walk out until they light the room or you'll miss out on something! And sit down for heavens sake! There are people behind you who want to see that last scene as well!

I've seen it twice in the last two days xD  BFF wanted to see it, and my hubby was at work, so i went sunday night, then hubby wanted to go yesterday.  both my little brothers want to go too, so will likely see it either this week or next.  xD 




SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!  It was both action filled and hilarious all at once.  perfect combo.

I honestly can't pick a best part, but it did bother me that black widow and the agent woman whose name I can't remember were wearing heels the whole time. Why would you make heels part of a uniform?

I went to the Marvel marathon (started at 11am and showed all their movies- Iron Man, Hulk, etc, then the Avengers at midnight) and it really annoyed me then. It's like, seriously? We just sat through 15+ hours of movies, in which YOU SAW that each movie had a teaser at the end and now you're going to get up and walk past me to leave right as the credits start to roll? Can you not make the connection of 'all those other Marvel movies had something at the end, and this Marvel movie probably does too'? Ugh.
But if I see a movie after the midnight release, I just figure that those people came back to watch it a second time and already know what happens.


Also, in one of the interviews before the release, they were asked something like what they did once all the filming was over and Chris Hemsworth answered "Had some Shawarma"- which now makes perfect sense  :lol:

Agent Hill. And to be fair, they aren't really heels, as it's all connected so it's more stable than say, stilettos. But I agree, especially with all the running and whatnot that they have to do.

Saw it last night and found it a really enjoyable film.
I admit I was conflicted over Loki, because it was a case of 'you are evil, I'm not meant to like you' and also 'Oh but you're actually really cute' curse you Tom Hiddleston. I loved how all of the characters bounced off each other and how they sort of hit on the whole 'does the world need heroes' conflict as well as showing how the members of the team were human.

I admit though in the scene where Loki was being chucked around by Hulk I felt quite guilty. I laughed and then as soon as I saw Loki when he was pounded into the floor I was a bit like D:Oh No. And also the scene with Iron Man and the portal really had my heart in my throat

I quite liked Black Widow. She was handled quite well I thought as she's the sort of character that so easily can be messed up. I wasn't keen on her in Iron Man as she was a bit 'pasted in' to me at the time. I also liked how it showed everyone actually looking like they had in fact been fighting, especially with the female characters as I've seen so much stuff where female characters have supposedly been fighting/caught up in something and look spotless.

Tom Hiddleston is a great actor... In different interviews, he talked about how Mark Ruffalo would bring his son on set and Tom would ask him questions and play around with him, and how Mark would end up coming out on days he wasn't working just because his son wanted to watch the Loki scenes so badly.


I'm really excited to see what will happen with him in Thor 2
