I have 3 moonstones, and one of them has bright bright magentay pink eyes, and the other two have darker. it's not faded, but it's more like barbie pink. is this just a fail paint from hasbro or what? just curious.
(ill post photos when my camera is done charging)

there has been a similar post featuring Moonstone some time ago :) Could it be the China vs Hong Kong difference?
It definitely seems that they´ve used a slightly different colour on different batches of ponies ^^

I think it's a paint variation . . . It's interesting, G1 ponies usually have very consistent paint shades for their symbols, but sometimes the eye colors can vary quite a bit! (Majesty, in particular, seems prone to this. I used to find extra Majestys all the time and it was rare for any two to have the same eye color, ha ha!)
