I went on a bit of a charity shop pony hunt for 'victims' for my idea for this years 'Destroy-a-Fakie' at the UK Ponycon - I came across these guys. I think the two at the bottom are really common recent fakies, but the blue seashell one interested me a bit more, its a Lanard with a 1984 stamp on its foot. Does anyone know any more about it? Do people collect the early Lanards?

And here is my beautiful son Ben modelling a UK womens size 8 MLP t-shirt I bought to make my own top from (alas I am not a size 8). He loved it! Wore it for about 2 days straight haha! Much to the distress of his father but hey ho, I love my little MLP fan - he finds them everywhere for me :biggrin: :silly: :heart:

I think destory a fakie is a bad idea because some fakies are more rare than mlp because they aren't licensed and thus must be sold at small storesfew and far between. Some are worth quite a bit too. At least you should educate people to look up their value before destroying while you are doing this.

Makes me think we should have a fakie panel at ponycon, I'm getting to love fakies! ;D

Agreed! I wouldn't destroy anything without first checking it out and seeing if anyone else wanted them :)

I've gotten quite attached to the seashelly one, I think I might keep it! Tinrobo I'd totally trade you the middle one for a killable fakie - orrrr, you can just have her for the price of postage if you like? She cost me like 19p and it'd be nice for her to go to someone who wants her! I picked up a couple a fakies at poundworld so I think I have all I need providing I don't muck things up (PS, so excited for Ponycon already!) xxx

I dreamt an idea, but not sure if I can pull it off yet. *excited* I have lots and lots of fakies and will defo be checking here first to see if acceptable to destroy (not all of them of course! Just 1 or 2!).

Love the idea about a fakie section at the PonyCon, it would be a good opportunity to pretty up some fakies and also see some weird and wonderful ones.
