Title: Paradise estate pc?
Post by: nearlyheadlessnayy on April 23, 2012, 04:32:45 AM
I am looking around to buy a paradise estate,
but I am just wondering how much should I expect to pay for one, without accessories!
I'm more interested in owning just the shell, and then collecting the bits inside as I go. :)
Thanks!

I had mine for €75 (thats, like, $100ish). Almost complete.

I think a complete one goes around $90-125. Could vary alot. Not sure about the house without asseccoiries though.

I bought mine for 110 £ plus loads of ponies and magazines and bits...
and there was one at ponycon last year... but dont remember how much that went for...

I have two empty (shell) bits with my sales items - if you can gather the rest together lol.

xx

That could be a way to do it sparkler!
How easy would it be to come buy the other 3 bits rather than buying a whole one?
:)

It has certainly dropped in price this set...I think I paid $200-220 for mine complete about 3 years ago. Oh and had it shipped from Canada [ouch!]

I think part of what drops is selling price is shipping - it tends to be crazy to post it anywhere.

In the current climate I would have said with every single piece even the most illusive little items $150-175 complete...therefore you need to scale down from there depending on how much of the playset is there...probably $50 for an empty shell with roofs but no accessories, no furniture and only roofs and doors.

It sounds like a fun project to piece one together over time...you should manage most of the furniture easy enough - however the cutlery and the flowers for around the pool will drive you crazy! Lol...good luck!

Thankyou!
Yeah I'd really like it to be an on-going project for me, it's just finding the shell first!

Mine was £16 with a few bits and pieces. I haven't been working too hard to complete it, but I don't have space to display it so keep it on top of the wardrobe.

It's the shipping that knocks the price down I think.

Mine was £50 I think? Came with a few bits but I'm slowly completing it. I do have a spare pool and patio bit (where the pool sits in) Pool doesn't have the board, and is all a bit faded, but let me know if you're interested.

I tried to win one on here a few months back, I bid £75 ( about $130) and didnt win it ;)

I swear it's SO much harder to find it in the UK, it's usually US sellers who have them.

I got mine for $75 at a garage sale last year, but I think they go for around $100.  Hope that helps!  Good luck, it's really a fabulous set :)

The latest one I bought, last year, was about 90% complete, in very good condition, for $125 + $50 shipping.

Hope that helps!

Thanks everyone,
I think I'll do it bit by bit once I've found the playset shell for myself :)

Congrats to you! I was bidding on some, but those prices were a bit high. And all of them skyrocketed in the very last second!

Congrats Rel...as a buyer I understand that though...if I needed one last fork to complete my PE I would bid high as well!

*patting self on back* however for the $200-odd I dropped on my complete one...that doesnt look as crazy as this thread was making me feel lol!

There was one in a knackered box on ebay UK the other day for collection only. It went for about £25 and I'm really really kicking myself for not bidding that little bit extra to win it.

Not like I have the room for it at all... ponies have taken over every room in my house through some means or another.
