So I have been getting into the idea of collecting Monster High dolls since before Christmas when I picked up a Spectra for someone (wish I would have kept it now--lol). Today, I went to TRU, and I just had to buy a MH doll. So I came home and bought the newer Frankie. Then while on Amazon, Abbey's price dropped to $21.99 so I bought her. 2 dolls in one day--I'm on to a collection.

Already up to 5 dolls now--got Rochelle off Amazon for $21.99, Toralei off ebay for $24.99, and Lagoona Blue Skull Shores at Walmart for $12.99.

I know! I had one and sold it before I was into MH. I don't think I have a chance of getting the signature Spectra, so I am going to wait for the Dot Dead Gorgeous one. When is that planned to be released?

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm debating whether to get her myself. I have multiples of all the core six dolls, but only one each of all the supporting characters like Nefera, Spectra, Clawdeen, etc. I'm afraid to start getting multiple dolls of those. If I do, will it ever stop?!

@Tuney: I'm on the same boat...Sort of. I just can't justify ever getting multiples of ANY because then I'll just want every release and it'll turn into a mess. ;~;

@Chi: I love Frankie and I would love to buy every doll of her, but I'm trying to only buy one of each character I like. And Spectra is expensive on ebay right now like $80.

Yeah, Spectra is super expensive. BFB offered her to me for $48 (ship included!), which isn't a bad deal at all considering how rare she is, but I have to save my money for a very special pony. :)
I know how you feel, though. I love some other releases of my dolls, but I can't have like 5 of the same one sitting around. I wish I could, but I just can't do it. XD

I wish I could collect MH dolls (they are super pretty! @_@) but I can't really be spending $20 per doll and I don't have the space for them, so I just keep drooling over pictures xD

Started on friday, and already have 5 dolls 3 days later, talk about fast and addicting. lol
It'll be hard to stick to just collecting one of each character. lol
