Hi everypony! I was looking through my G3 collection when I noticed that my Petal Blossom's symbol is covered with glue from the manufacturer. :( I've heard that you can use nail polish remover to remove glue off ponies, but will that remove her symbol as well? Is there any other way of getting glue off ponies? :what:

Yes it will remove her symbol to use nail polish remover/acetone. You might be able to melt the glue by boiling her (or at least soften it enough that it will come off). Otherwise, some people use a product called Jasco to deflock G1 So Soft ponies, and that takes the glue off without damaging symbols, so you could try that if you don't want to boil.

Okay then, thank you!

Thanks! Haha sure. :) Have you tried melting the glue with warm/hot water? I noticed some glue on one of my ponie's hair the other day while shampooing it. I didn't try boiling it, but it wouldn't come off when exposed to a hot hair dryer so I just snipped it off... ._."

If you can't find Jasco, you can also use this - Mötsenböcker's Lift Off.

It's what I used for deflocking Paradise because they don't sell Jasco at my nearby Lowe's.
It didn't affect the paint at all, but like all adhesive removers requires gloves and good ventilation.

Well, I tried hot water on one of them that has it at the root of her mane and I didn't feel it helped much :( Although to be honest, for most of them, the glue is in places where I don't mind it much, like root of the tail/mane so I´m not too bothered. Although, when I say I tried hot water, I mean i tried hot *tap* water, not boiling - so I might give it a try eventually ^^
