Like the title says, this is a request, and I'm new to this Ponysona thing. For the longest time I couldn't even imagine what a ponysona would look like for me.. I still can't. Instead, I have imagined a ponysona for a favorite old character of mine.
If anyone can help me out with some art, that would be awesome. Im looking for something to use as an Avatar I suppose.
Criteria:
No chibi
No g4 style
No super cartoony
Yes color
Elegance
I am sort of picky. I apologize. Once upon a time I used to draw a lot, and I developed a love for art that has stayed with me.
Character specifics:
Theme is Fallen Angel
White Pegasus.
Tips of feathers are black.
White body
The legs blend from black near the hooves, into grey and finally into white with the rest of her body.
The cutie mark is a crescent moon with a blue star in the center. Similar to this image (http://images.brighthub.com/6e/8/6e8c997f180738b2c9650171dc1a20a4b8f06bb3_large.jpg).
Her eyes are a very light heavenly blue.
Mane and tail long and elegant. Dark blue/black color. Or black with dark blue highlights.
If you are interested in drawing her for me, that would be pretty awesome. And thank you to all who try to do so for me.

She sounds lovely :) I'm afraid I don't have the time to help, but I can :bump: this for you at least. You can also try the adoptables forum, I'm sure someone could use their template for you from that description :)

I think I would be happy with either.. But I think something closer to a real horse would look nicer. Or at least, something with longer legs. The longer legs make it a touch more elegant in my eyes.

ill prolly give it a try then, ill post it when i get a chance, it might be a little while tho, i have my hands a little full with the ATC and adoptables. but i do love doin more realistic sketches. =] fair warning tho, you or someone else will prolly have to resize it tho, im all thumbs when it comes to computers lol

That sounds perfectly fine! I am able to do that. And take your time. I don't believe in rushing artists. ;)

ive started kicking around a few ideas but need a little more info from you before i run with one of them. you say fallen angel theme, what kind of mood did you want, that can go a few different ways. sad, defeated, defiant etc... and the black tipped wings, did you want them singed looking, maybe partially damaged, or just sooty colored?

Sadness. Determination. Redemption. Those all fit her theme well. The wings are black tipped because they ate slowly turning from white to black. The longer she stays Fallen, the darker they will get till they are pitch black. Right now she is working towards redemption so they are not changing as fast.
So while they are not burnt they are not sooty. I picture sooty as grey and the only grey would be on er legs where the spreading darkness can blend a bit better with the white coat.

k so a simple colorfade then, i wasnt sure if you were goin for a more 'partially burned' look that would effect teh size and shape of the wings. just needed to know if i was gonna be drawing full or tattered feathers.
thanks for the info time to stare at the paper some more now til i get an epiphany.

progress shot. started darkening her wingtips last night. still need to finish shadeing tho, just have teh bare minimum in now.

sigh it refuses to straighten out... GRRR
yep tried rotating it a few times, its decided to stay sideways for now lol. ill fiddle with it later.
LOL i go and edit it to change some of the text and NOW the pic magically straightened... *shakes fist at laptop* its purposly messin with me now.

yeah its only about half done, i figure ill put another day or two of work into it for you, yeah i LOOOVE doing wings. lol been perfecting makin fluffy wings my whole life. so much fun to do. =] the hair around her hooves.. did you want that to be black like the legfadeing, or the blueblack that the mane and tail will be? basically did you want the highlights to be blue like the rest or grayish?
did you want more darkening on the legs? i just faded a little bit of them cause i fugured the furry bit would be black too.
and did you want me to blacktip another row of feathers or leave them as they are, and did you want me to darken the pinfeathers more (making the trailing edge of the wings solid black) or leave that band of white in there?

Hoof hair - This can be black or Blue Black. I'll leave it up to you to decide which looks best.
Highlights in the hair are best left to the black/blue combo.
Legs- I think they look good the way you have them
Wings - They are perfect as is!
I do love this so much :)

im thinking ill do the hoofhair in black so you wont lose it in her mane and tail. did a little more shadeing to the underwing, now that i know you like the style of the wings how they are i can finish detailing the rest of them.

darkened the hair, detailed the wings some more, working on her hooves now. ill post pics when i stop for the night.

posting for the verdict... is she done or need anything tweaked? =] finished feet, wings, and some base work. i usually stay away from backgrounds cause im a coward lol

aaand again with the sideways pics... sigh. already tried a dozen times to get it to rotate, last time it just kinda fixed itself so ima leave it be and see what happens =P
