flutter wings by Eleonore Juraschek is the person who makes the flutter wings, she had them for sale on ebay and I had contacted her and she replied so I have an order form just through email for when Im ready to order more... known as Nora's flutter wings and they look exact...if you want her email I will ask if I can pass it on...otherwise try contacting her thru ebay...she is known as a8aglaia

I just bought a new sewing machine and I have some bandana to help me with pattern so I am gonna make my own BB bandana but I still need recommendations on fabrics which are close to the originals.
-
On the bandana it depends if you want an original pattern or one in a different pattern...pinkkittywinks does amazing flutter wings and perfect bandanas in different colours and patterns than the originals...
-
yes please gypsyunicorn. how much are they,
so much appreciated guys :)

Eleanor's wings run about $13 a pair. I know that I spent over $100 for a set of 13 for each of my flutter ponies.
I agree though, they DO look exact.
-
What I would love to see would be a tutorial on how to make the replica flutter wings that actually look like the originals and links to supply sources! (plastic for wings, bandanas, etc.)
-
oh thats expensive, but i got to have atleast one pair to complete, iv made my own and found iridescent paint with glitter in it at a craft store and made the wings out of plastic pepsi bottles and i think also fizzy flavoured H2O bottles too and they came up a treat, you get the curved part that goes upto the bottle top.

Gypsywildflower used to do great repro flutter wings for just £2.50 a pair but she stopped making them as her supplier of the iridescent plastic material changed their formula and she couldn't get it to mould the way she wanted
Jem :)

thats is such a big shame, how unfortunit :(
that was a good price though
-
I have a wigwam bandana repro made by gypsywildflower that I can sell :)
-
I'm selling some of Gypsy's wings. I have 13 pairs of those as well. I preferred Nora's over Gypsy's wings. I just haven't gotten around to taking pictures and listing them. I thought I paid more than 2.50 pounds per pair though.

So how would you attach popbottle wings if the little tab things in the holder are gone? Build up the end and glue/pray?
-
Rybett - when your cutting out the wing you allow a sticky outy thingy to fit into the goove :)
hope that helps, im terrable at discribing thing.
Surfstar - i would be interested in buying acouple of pairs, how much . please pm me :)
Roogna - thank you hun but im after quarterback's and an upgrade to steamer's :)
-
I think I'd be interested in a set as well.
