Hello all! So everyone should know about Zoobles by now (or at least most of the US, don't know about overseas). Anyway, for a while on the clearance aisle at one of the two walmarts here there have been this kind of mystery cartons/boxes that have one Zooble and one happitat. I was a little eh about them when I first saw them but I got curious enough to see what I'd get from the mystery box.
What do guys think about these things? Do you think they are kind of another take by a company to do something like Littlest Petshop (note I -have- see LPS fakies at a few small stores like DG and Family Dollar). I know they've been around at least a year or maybe two now, so I never really seen how people reacted to them since I kind of shrugged them off.

They're actually made by the company that made Bakugan, SpinMaster. I think they're more of the girl version of Bakugan. They've been around for a couple of years. Not super-popular but not unpopular either.

I don't know...I couldn't get into them at all and thats unusual for me. My niece loves them..but they don't do a thing for me. I have not bought any of them. Its so rare for me to turn a toy away...

I've never heard of them, maybe they're not big over here (or I simply haven't noticed them :3)! They do resemble LPS in some ways.. probably why I'm not so interested in them. :/ Not a collector.

I got a few from McDonalds last year and my 3 and 4 year old preschoolers at the school I teach at LOVED them! I bought a medium playset at the local thrift store for $1.50, and picked up a few of the original Zoobles on clearence w/ $5 off coupons (so they cost me literally 50 cents for 2 sets!) at TRU for my classroom. They are a surprisingly popular toy with the 3s and 4s. They are cute, but I did not see the appeal, and still don't. Yet, they are in the top 3 most-played-with toys in my classroom (along with some basic Taransformers and MLP Newborn Cuties). The kids also love to send them down our marble-slide (which is amusing).

I like bakugan toys ok. I got a dragon one for free from a buddy of mine and I like to roll it around and make it pop/open while I read. I've been curious about those zoobles that look like kangaroos with the little baby in it's pouch. those are pretty darn cute... I wouldn't mind getting one if the price was right.
