Hi everyone !
Iam Paulien, 25 years and Iam from Holland.
My sister (Hokuspokus) is already a member of MLP Arena and she showed me the community. And now Iam a member too ! :biggrin: yay !
My love for MLP started when I was 8 years young. I was in a toyshop and saw baby Sunribbon and I just fell in love with her ! From that moment many ponies have followed her haha :good: . Because I couldn't speak English at that moment, baby Sunribbon was named Schitterboogje. Which explains my nickname.
Hokuspokus fell in love with the ponies too and together we played with our MLP in our room. We shared a bedroom for 3 years and under our beds was a space where we both made a house for the ponies ^.^ . It was always so much fun !
When I was 12 sadly G1 ponies were out of store.. :( I had a few G2 ponies but I didn't loved them as much as my G1 ponies.. And I was in Highschool so I packed my MLP into a bag and put them in a closet.. I still loved them but I didn't want my friends to see it because I was afraid they would laugh at me or something.. but I wanted to keep them and when I was at a fleamarket and saw a G1 pony, I bought her and put her into the bag with my other childhood ponies.
Years later my sister bought her first MLP lot on Ebay and from that moment we both realised how much we love MLP.. she started again with collecting G1 ponies and a year later I did the same thing. And now we both have our own collection and it's growing every day !
I still only collect G1 MLP. And Iam so glad I've always kept my childhood ponies :heart: only now they are standing proud in my room on a shelf where everyone can see them when they walk into my room ! And they are never going into that bag in the closet again.
Oh, and beside collecting MLP I like to see movies, going out, playing golf or reading. At this moment Iam a little addicted to the tv series The O.C. thanks to my very good friend haha :P !
I don't work or go to school at the time.. because of some personal problems..
I hope to have a nice time here on the MLP Arena and it's nice to meet you all ! :happy:

Thanks ! And yeah, it's such an awkward age.. but I'm glad I still have them :)
