I noticed that there are some members here who collect plushies. I'd love to see them!! Plushies of any brand, beanie babies, how you display/store them...anything!!
I used to think of them as "cute but useless dust collectors" (which is funny, because really they are not much different than ponies, dolls, or anything else I collect LOL). Lately I've been feeling blue though, and I then remembered how awesome they are to hug.

Here are my Lion King plushies^^ I have more plushies than my Lion King ones but they're the only ones I have a group photo of. I agree they're wonderful and comforting to hug. I remember after my guinea pig Atomic Fireball died in 2005, I was moping around the house carrying the big adult Simba plush that's in this photo.

On my bed, which is thrashed because it is currently doubling as a Physical Therapy platform, dogs, including Daddy Patches on the pillow and more Uglydolls occupying the space formerly taken up by my husband:

There is another box somewhere of mostly dogs, and two plastic storage bins of cats under my bed. The cats really wanted to be in the pictures, but my back is not well enough to go digging under the bed and likely get make it off the floor again.
I've been into plushies all of my life and I *really* try to limit what I buy now because I have so many. I still collect the regular release Uglydolls, and there are 2 dogs that I am searching for to complete a childhood collection. Other than that I am FINISHED! Until I see another one I like :biggrin:

Mine are mostly in some boxes and storage tubs, for space. :lookround: Heehee. I've got yoshi, chocobo, dolphins, birds, bunnies, and lots more :)

I LOVE horror and I wish I could have afforded the whole Lovecraft plushie collection when it came out. Anyway, the Great Old One decided he wanted his picture taken so he came out from the bottom of the Uglydoll hammock where he is usually hanging out with Uglydoll Target comparing tentacles and such, so here he is:visitors can't see pics , please register or login
I believe he was the medium sized one, I've had him about ten years :)

Thanks! I got the Cheshire cat from e-bay, I think the person is a member here but I can't remember who. There are other cats in that pile with the dogs, though, so she isn't lonely.
I found the hammocks on Amazon for a decent price. When I decided that was the way I wanted to organize my plush, I looked all around town and couldn't find any, then got sidetracked and ended up coming home with a puppy (see icon) but that is another whole story :)

*sits and stares at Brandi's giant Minty* For real, I love those giant pony plushies! Ever since I got a Frilly Frocks, I've been loving to look at all giant plush ponies lol. And I'm loving the Funshine Bear collection! He's one of my faves...he's so bright and sunny, he just cheers me up :D It must be really cheery to look at all your Funshines :)
BTW, yep Ginger! That be a Build-a-Bear Chococat! I am a bit overly-addicted to Build-a-Bear plushies, but I'll probably order online rather than going in the store, after a bit of an embarrassing incident the last time I went in the store :P But that's another story, lmao!

Thanks Ginger... I've moved nearly 1,000 miles since then and they're currently between two shelves and in the co-sleeper (I HAVE to get more shelves soon or Peanut will have no where to sleep when she arrives in June haha!)
I've gotten even more since then and Giant Minty is at a friend's house, but yeah... I'm the Plushie Army dictator.

If you search "Plush Cthulhu," you may still be able to find him. They did a whole series, a Santa Cthulhu, a superhero, bedroom slippers, etc. I think mine came from Entertainment Earth. If not, there's always e-bay.

Mine are all in storage all over the place. No room to display my giant hoard of plushies. For a while I was giving them away free at rummage sales. Currently I try to avoid buying unless its a Dakin or Steiff.

Entertainment Earth is great for plushes, I got my plush Fizzgig from Dark Crystal there. Seriously though I LOVE you Tulu! I'm looking right now. Give your old one a hug for me.

Ginger I love everything about that picture, all of the Alice in Wonderland, the jellyfish, now what the heck is that on the far left, not the purple kitty on top of the cheshire kitty but tghe thing on top of the purple kitty? Looks really familiar but I can't place it.
I thoght I'd put up a quick shot of two of my favorites, Squishables are some of the best lushies ever, and I now proudly own two, one of them being a certain Elder God in mini form, the other the large sized Bat, both were gifts from good friends. So here's Eldritch and Gerd, though Gerd is not entirely sure why there's a Elder God sitting on his head.

Obscuria, thank you!!! That's Momiji from Fruits Basket. It was given to me years ago. He came from a local comic shop who thought he was haunted because he'd switch places at night hahaha. Nothing strange about him now though. XD
