Just out of curiosity, which version of Minty is your favorite?I personally wasn't a fan of the G1 version, but I think the G4 version is super cute, and I love the winter-accessory version of G3 Minty as well. I never watched the G3 cartoons, I just like the colors and symbol on G3/G4 Minty.  Green ponies are a very unique breed. :)

Toy-wise:  G4 (I don't know why, but I prefer the G4 pony molds over the G3 ones)
Color-wise:  G1 (Light green coat and white hair?  Simple and cute.)
Personality-wise:  G3 (Such a cute little klutz...)

I'm all over the place.  :P

As much as I love G1s - I never thought shamrocks made much sense for Minty. I think G3/G4 symbols make more sense.

So I guess I'll have to go with G3/G4  - since they are pretty much the same.

As a toy, G4 Minty looks awesome the way she is, but my favorite color combo is the G1.

Diva pose g3! One of my most wanted G3's. I also love the G4 version, but was never a fan of the G1 Minty. I abhor the collectors pose.

I agree that G1 Minty doesn't really make sense...but I still love her best! For some reason in the last year, I suddenly fell in love with the CP even though I used to not really care for it. But gosh it's so sweet looking!

I do like G3/G4 Minty too (any green pony is a good pony!) but I honestly don't understand why she seems to be everyone's favorite pony ever. Was it because of her personality in the cartoons? Or because she's green..?

I totally love the G1 minty. Not that I like the other newer versions of her. Though the old one is so cute because I never had her as a child. Which made her all the more special once I got her.  :lovey:

Mint green is my fav. color so naturally I like them all but I only collect G4 and I love the brightness of her colors, so G4 Minty is my favorite. Gosh I hope we see a release of her soon.
I would really love to see a G4 pony with a shamrock cutie mark someday too.

G4 Minty. I'm so sorry G1. I'm blinded by my need to possess her and those big shiny eyes. If it's any consolation, I wish G4 had inherited your awsome butt-clovers instead of the candies and you are still one of my favorite G1s ever.

G3, I don't care for your heehawing first pose but love you regardless. Just not as much as the other two. :( Oh well.

For the record, I think Minty is a fine name for a mint green pony with shamrocks. Naming every single pony the same as their symbol would be like naming all black dogs Midnight or Shadow.

g4 minty. So cute and small, and I really like pastel colors. Particularly mint and lavender, but pink is nice too.

G3 Diva pose just edges out G4 blind bag, if you ask me, and everything other version trails behind.

I happen to love them all too though we are a wee bit partial to the G3 Minty.  The G4 Blind Bag is cute but I have only seem one really bad photo of the G4 Toy which I was so so about.

As to G3, I love the Birthday Celebration one, as well as the classic one and the donkey pose.  Still need to add a dang diva pose one.

When we first started collecting I did not care for the CP pose either but they have grown on me and now love her too.

Kimono's Townhouse? That was pretty much my introduction to her. Have no idea what her other incarnations have been like, but I love the oddball, sock-loving G3 gal from the strip.

Love G1 Minty's color scheme. I'd like G3/4 Minty if there was no pink on her :s She's hardly the only really green G3/4 and they had to "spoil" it with pink :'( (can you guess I don't like pink? :p)

Now I really hope G4 Minty will be released soon so I can make all kinds of green ponies from her :D

I'd say both. Hasbro really put the focus on her as a character when they were doing their G3 animated features (she pretty much stole the show in the Birthday Celebration, as well as being the star of the Christmas feature and also playing roles in the other animations as well). Plus being a green pony, which is a fairly uncommon color, makes her unique in a herd of other ponies on a display shelf or in a toy bin.

I never understood why she wasn't part of the Core 7 Hasbro tried to do in 2009... Why you go back on your own marketing strategy, Hasbro? You spent all that time making Minty the star of the G3's and then dumped her to make room for ...Star Song and Sweetie Belle? o.0

G1 minty for her colors and nostalgia. I've never really gotten into knowing G3 Minty and probably never will... From what little I have seen I didn't care for her personality XD

also random fact: People have wondered why G1 Minty has shamrocks for her symbol. I've always related the reason to being because Mint is a plant and despite most people who have seen a mint plant knows that it's not clover shaped in the leaves, it wouldn't have looked right if they used and actual mint plant (this is my opinion though). I did some looking around and found there is a Mint in Italy that has rounded leaves. I'm still looking at different kinds of Mint but since Wikipedia doesn't show images for all of them, yeah I'll have to look elsewhere XD

Ahhh can't decide! Let's see...

I love the collector's pose and Minty is my favorite collector's pose pony, green is my favorite color and I love clover motifs too...

G3 Minty I probably don't like quite as much as the others, though she is one of my favorite G3s and the one I have the most of. And I just got the Winter edition one a few days ago after admiring her forever and she is soooooo gorgeous.

And G4 Minty is adorable! Want Hasbro to hurry up and give her to us soon. She's also the only blind bag I have (until my complete case arrives from HTS tomorrow!) and I picked her out on purpose.

It's a very close race... but I think my favorite is my G3 Winter edition. Very probably because I just got her and am still really excited about her, and gosh she's pretty... Second is G1 Minty, then G4, then regular G3.

Oh gosh! This is a toughie... G1 Minty always had a soft spot in my heart as a kid, but when G3 Minty came out, I fell in love with her. As for G4 Minty, well... I haven't held her in my hands yet. When I do, then I'll know.

Overall? G3 and G4. Shamrocks, while I love them, barely make any since. Silly 80s Hasbro, y u no logical?

G1 Minty! She was the last of the CP ponies that I got and seems to be the "rarest," if you can call any of the standard CP ponies rare. I have the G3 Minty as well.

hands down G1 minty, she was the first ever mlp i fell in love with as a kiddy, i saw her picture in a Toyworld brochure with the other 5 CP Flat foot ponies. i love her shamrocks/clovers and her beautifull greeness :heart: .

and yes im hanging on to hope hasbro will bring out that minty everyone wants darn bad......minty forever :lovey:
