Title: My pony room exploded!
Post by: sparkleset80 on April 04, 2012, 02:24:06 PM
So I haven't been feeling good for about 4 days now, I haven't been keeping up with my pony room lately. I opened up the room today and thought, "Oh my!"  :faint: How did I let it get like this? Anyone else get overwhelmed by all your pony's and stuff?

I love your pony room!

Yes, I feel like this all the time and not just with ponies. Hope you feel better soon.

Are those shelves with doors in the back of the room custom made? I really like them.

Wow, great pony room :D I´d have a lot of fun tidying it up ^^

teresat - I´m pretty sure those are from IKEA :) I have one, dark grey, myself and they are perfect for ponies.

I'm still unpacking mine. So I have tubs and ponies all over my tiny room. XD

That's pretty much how my den looks right now. And it's not supposed to be a pony room >.< The ponies have taken over my desk completely! And while I have plenty of extra wall space, I don't want to build shelves because I'm moving in 3 months :S

I love your pony room, I dream of having a nice pony room like that some day!

Wow! That is a lot of ponies.

My pony collection is still fairly small. I think the biggest issue I have with keeping mine clean is that my cat thinks she can knock them all over.

Nope, but I'd love to go for a swim in that.  Mine are still packed up in plastic bins. :(

LOL yes! At least cleaning up the pony room and arranging everything is way more fun than cleaning the rest of the house!

Your room looks awesome!  And yeah, I had that problem once.  I was at university and I found a boatload of ponies at a yardsale, and I was literally tripping over them for awhile there.  They overflowed into the common area, I was spending hours at a time cleaning ponies, and the landlady thought I was crazy!

Mine looks way worse.  I am in the middle of adding more shelves and pegboards so everything has to come down and away from the walls.

Oh yes....I feel that kind of pony pain! All I did a week or so ago was move all the accessories and some of the ponies I had to sort into more organised boxes which still need sorted...it was a riot and I am sure I ll have lost some items on the way...I desperately need to get on top of it...I am thinking of hiring in some kind of "Pony Sorter" lol...someone who can simply organise them on to shelves...

I ll wish you luck and assure you you are not the only one having to brave the "pony sorting grounds"

Yes, my office was way worse than this until recently..... boxes & packaging everywhere... stuff to sell..... stuff to store.... stuff i didn;t know what to do with.... but I have recently boxed it all up & labeled all the boxes, so it's much neater, but yeah I still got heaps of stuff to sort & sell...... all the ponies, however, are sorted & groomed & placed on the shelves.

Yes! Definitely been there! But when you're feeling up to it I bet you'll have a blast sorting it all out :D I did! Do it in small chunks so you don't feel overwhelmed. Even if you do one bit straight after the other, just set a little goal, complete it, then set another etc, it's what I have to tell my hubby to do with his Warhammer when I catch him just staring at it all looking overwhelmed :P lol.

I hope you feel better soon! xx

I'm slightly shamed to say that it looks much tidier than my pony room..
My room is the poster-child for Rarity's "Inspiration Room" and her phrase "Organized Chaos."

That's a massive pony room!!
I know how you feel. I share the back room with my hubby and his sports cards. I'm always the one making a mess, lol. Gets overwhelming every once and awhile.

I'm having a pony disaster myself. As well as my backlog I have quite a few ponies that need to go on my sales list and my collection kind of got jumbled like stuff fell off my desk. I'm tackling it as I clean my room right now said tackling is shoving any ponies I find in a plastic box XD

Eeeevery single day, luv. XP

But it's not just with ponies. Since I stay at my Dads' house, I can't and don't dare expand ANYTHING I own past my room / studio space. I TRY to keep my space organized and neat, but since my room is my bedroom AND art studio AND office AND library AND toy room, it only takes a day or two to look like that.

What a lovely pony room! I'm jealous.

Most of my ponies are in storage. The rest are on display on my desk and bureau, so I don't have your problem atm. I'm sure I will in a few months.

Yup, mine took about 2-3 days to straighten out. Looks better now, that's why I'm not going in there :P
