but dAAANG what is going on with all the high priced argies lately!?!!?
i thought i had that powder for sure!! :cry:

im kinda oblivious to other ponies... is there a similar trend with other nirvanas??

Prices seem to be all over the place. Things are ending much higher & much lower than I would expect. I guess its just the subtle shifting of interest & popularity of different Nirvanas or groups of ponies in general.

Oh wow, that Powder went for so much more than I expected....
The prices definitely seem to be all over the place. Especially sparkle ponies.. They weren't always that highly priced, were they? D:
Only other thing I've noticed is Venezuelans dropping. I'm not sure if it's because so many are appearing, or if it's because people are afraid to buy them from Venezuela due to the customs issues.

I've been after an Italy Starflower for a long time now. I was outbid by something outrageous like two cents when I'd first tried snagging her months ago which started my ponyhunt.
The last Italy Starflower? She went for $95 on eBay! O___O;; The one before her was sold for $8 (and you can bet I'm kicking myself there, I didn't even notice she was there until it was too late :C)
Gahh, it is quite frustrating. xD

Greeks have been pretty low apart from Parasol that ended at $118. It's annoying me how low they are because I can't purchase any of them :(

I was sniped on that sparkle argie last night *cries* and it jumped over $100 in the last few seconds
I did win some others - some new, some upgrades (which means there will be more for my sale bin soon)
I didn't even see a powder....
but the last minute sniping to crazy prices on some was - wow
I've seen a similar trend in Peru ponies lately
but the venezuela ones are staying around $230 and less (won my first one!)

I don't think I remember seeing a Powder, but I remember being in awe of the price on the Argie sparkle pony/Sprinkles. Sorry you missed her.

I actually thought a lot of things are lower than I would normally expect them to be but thats main stream ponies...if nirvanas are higher than normal maybe its finally time to get those nirvanas of mine that I am parting with listed!!!

Sorry you lost out, Rel. I got one like her from the Delaneys last year, but not sure if she was in as good of shape as that one was. Mine was an upgrade for a baity one I sold. I'm sure more of her will pop up. Have you seen the Applejack and Bowtie Argies listed?

infact, if i didnt have my goal of having every argie im pretty sure i would have no interest in her at all!

That's probably for the best, otherwise we'd all be after the same things! I love the soft colours of Powder myself... I think I own six Argies, of which she is one of them (and four are baby Fancy Pants :) )

I'm going to get fakies thrown at me, but I'm really not that keen on Powder. That may be a good thing though you have one less person to worry about. Just keep away from Greeks, they're all mine. :P :silly:

see I told you that the sparkle pony I bid on got out of control, and I didn't even outbid the person who set the max, I gave up... it's out of control with the pony market lately, I keep loosing out on italy flutterbyes too. I have had some decent luck with greeks... but most of them have been MOC so not too many people want MOC ponies (or at least that's my guess) the last argie I actually bought though had a BIN so made it a little easier... but for some reason it's been getting a little too competitive for stuff on ebay.... hopefully you'll have better luck next time a nice powder :)

Aw, don't say that :( You still have the most beautiful Argie collection out there! It might just take you a bit longer to get all of the ones that you want but you shouldn't give up...

Don't give up! Your collection is so beautiful! I've had one baby pony elude me at least 5 or 6 times, here and on e-bay, and I'm STILL after her...

ill hold out for now but i gotta say its a deterent atm...

Maybe it will just take that bit longer :) Most things I want these days are more on the expensive side (or just don't ever come up!), so I have to space them out more ... or get lucky!

Well, were.... now that the seller is shipping them to all to the U.S. to be sold through someone I am unsure when we will see any at that price.
