My swap pony, Sakura Night. Her idea was sparked from a pair of chopsticks I saw that were all blue with little usagi & moon designs covered in sakura petals. I had a blast designing her and even the painting wasn't so bad, even though those petals took about 25 attempts. I just have an unusually hard time working with pony hair. My partner, kanami, wanted styled hair and after rehairing about a 6th of the head my needles started breaking. The plastic in this head seemed a little harder than the ones I had done before but I figure even if I broke a few needles I'd get the job done. Well 8ish needles later, I was no further along and my reroot tool was bust. I tried fixing it with tape, super glue, clay, etc. Kaoskat stepped in to help me finish the hair and she did an amazing job I never could have on my own.

Unfortunately, Sakura Night is going to be my last custom pony. I've just learned I prefer drawing and coloring ponies instead of making physical ponies.

Thank you kaos for all of your help and I really hope Kanami likes her!

I love her! She turned out wonderful, despite the trouble you had rehairing her. And thank you KaosKat for helping out RayeChu.

A tip for if you do custom more ponies in the future use the size 4 or 5 rehair needle from dollyhair, it seems to work really well for G4 heads.

I'm almost positive my needles were size 5, I've used them before and had minimal breakage. I just am setting aside customs for me time being. If I go to pic it up again I will get a metal rehair tool.
