I'm not an expert, but maybe the symbols on the white one faded?

Bow-tie's symbols are prone to fading, much like Posey's - looks like your two have their heads glued on at slightly different angles too.  ;)   Just because both sides are equally faded doesn't mean that it wasn't due to sun exposure.  Many kids played with their ponie.s outside.

Ah ok. i got a better picture gunna upload it tho.

Ironically the one with bright white bows is in better condition and the heads move on both of them.

Magenta/Red ink....easily the most prone to colour leaching into the plastic - Baby Crumpet, Gusty, Scoops and so many more are often seen with their purple symbols having turned blue-ish and others have pink symbols which turn to a very light pink or white...

Thats all that has happened here with the white symbols [which do still look a very faint pink] have lost some of the pigment...

Cute though! Nothing wrong with having lots and lots of Bow Ties...she is so gorgeous!
