What do you remember from those days? Quotes? episodes? Maybe post a link to the show for others not remembering or unfamiliar? I remember:
Kablam!
"Action League NOW! Starring...The Flesh. He's super strong and super naked. Thundergirl. She flies like thunder. Stinky Diver. A former navy comado whose attitude is as bad as his oder And Meltman with the power to.....melt."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GihnbWsv_1U&feature=related
"What you are about to see is top secret. It is a video tape recorded 900,000 years ago by an alien using a remote controlled camera. It shows his attempts to educate a caveman. They have been code named 'The Prometheus and Bob' tapes."

Ah, memories... 5 clever space cadets snuck aboard an alien ship....

Go SNICK!!

I watched is in the 80s... LOL
-
I remember! Man I miss those shows! TV is boring now. Haha.
-
Haha.. space cases. I hated that show. It's just funny now though.
I wish I could watch the 90's shows on the teen nick channel.
-
We run, we jump, we swim and plaaaay. We row and go on trips. But the things that last foreveeeer, are our dear friendshiiips...

Rofl I loved Space Cases!! I liked the girl with rainbow hair who had the "imaginary friend." Oh, and the Black Ranger was in it! Haha, funny story but I would see that actor around where I live because he lives in the same area. xD
But daaamn '90s Nickelodeon was just awesome, especially on Saturday nights (Snick) what with Are you Afraid of the Dark?, Alex Mack, Kablaam!, etc.
-
I liked Snick too. I adored Roundhouse.
-
I still watch 90's Nick!!
The 90's are All That comes on at midnight here!!
-
I liked Snick too. I adored Roundhouse.
I still sing the theme song every now and again.
Whenever my life gets me sooooo down I know I can go down to where the music and the fun never ends!

I am also still a HUGE Ren and Stimpy fanatic. Such a unique show - there will never be another cartoon like it. I hum the Log song almost daily.
It's loooog, it's loooog, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood! It's loooog, it's loooog, it's better than bad, it's good!
I also have "Don't Whiz On The Electric Fence" as a notification tone on my phone. XD And my two year old can sing "Happy Happy Joy Joy" even though he's never watched the show.
-
How about.....
"Legends of the Hidden Temple! With your guide Kirk Fogg....and here he is now!"

Oh man, Olmec was my GUY back in the day!! '80s and '90s Nick was just so much fun...Nick nowadays is so bland and unoriginal. The only shows I like now are Victorious and Spongebob (only the early episodes). *sigh*, I miss the good ole' days.
*starts humming the Rugrats theme*
-
You can't talk about Legends of the Hidden Temple without talking about GUTS, Double Dare, or even Nick Arcade!
Catdog was also one of my favorite themes.

I still watch it occasionally. Back before evilbay banned the selling of copied tv shows I picked up the entire series. lol. (That was Catalina who had the imaginary friend.)
You got to see Walter Jones, eh? I'd have mugged him for a pic, he was my favorite Ranger... Oh geez, I feel so old right now... little bit of useless info, he likes to salsa dance... is pretty good at it too...

Snap Me Down, it's Sniz and Fondue(from Kablam)!

Oh man, I did an internship a few years back and the intern house had lousy satellite channels, but one of them was Nick GaS (games and sports) We watched MANY episodes of GUTS, and LotHT. I realized that those Temple Guards scared me just as much in my twenties as they did when I first saw them. No way would I have been able to run through the temple without peeing my pants in terror the first time one of those guys jumped out at me!
-
YES those temple guards!! They scared me too and they still kinda freak me out when I catch episodes of Legends of the Hidden Temple. Always that damn Shrine of the Silver Monkey... Lol
It was also soooo frustrating watching the contestants try (and fail) to assemble the silver monkey parts. It was like GAH!! It's only three pieces! xD
-
This thread. <3
So much nostalgia. ^^
-
there are a ton of great videos from cartoons to commercials here http://www.retrojunk.com/ :)
-
"MOVE IT FOOTBALL HEAD!"
http://youtu.be/OKL1ffelnNk
=u= all 5 seasons of Hey Arnold on netflix.... I'm 5 episodes into Season 4. I have been filled with many happies.
-
I can't believe no one's talked about Rocko's Modern Life or Pete and Pete yet. Two of my absolute teenage favorites!
-
I never saw Rocko's Modern Life but I did see a video that showed all the innuendos in it, and I was shocked that all that got past the radar! It was hilarious, and it was sort of like Animaniacs. Unless Animaniacs came second, in which case it's the other way around.
-
Ah Rocko's Modern Life. One of the many shows I watched on Nick as a kid where I'd watch TV for hours. How about Inspector Gadget? Definitely one of my favorite Nick shows. Dr Claw made for an awesome villain and Penny probably my favorite main character.
-
I'm more of an 80's Nick gal. I watched Double Dare and You Can't Say That On Television. Boy, those were the days.
-
I miss Are You Afraid of the Dark and Ren and Stimpy! The 90s are All That has been a god send for the 90s shows, but Are You Afraid isn't in the lineup! I know I looked, I was going to DVR it all.
-

Ha it's true, but I know if I was picked to run through the temple, the first puzzle I ran into would have put me in the fetal position immediately. I'm sure the temple guards wouldn't have even had the heart to jump out at me!

Oh man, those two were pretty amazing too! I know it's not Nickelodeon, but I went on a huge nostalgia trip last night and spent longer than I care to admit watching clips of Freakazoid! on Youtube. My sister and I looooved that show!
-
What about Hey Dude! and Salute Your Shorts? My fiance and I were singing the theme songs last night.

Yay! I sang one of them on the first page of this thread, heh heh. Man those songs are catchy!!
It's a little wild and a little straaaange
when you make your home out on the raaaaange
-
Better watch out for those man-eating jackrabbits and that killer cacti.
Heeeeey Duuuuude.
-
What about Wild and Crazy Kids?
-
I still love Rugrats.
And used to love CatDog.
-
Oh man... I was addicted to Hey Arnold in a very unhealthy way. I had my wedding to Arnold all planned out in my head :p
-
OMG I will occasionally bust out with the Space Cases theme. It was like Star Trek for kids. Like, I'm nowhere near smart enough to pilot a Federation vessel (or even get one to make my coffee for me), but the Christa? Pfft, the broken android did most of it. I could handle that.
But now thanks to Ren-Ren I'm mentally switching back and forth from that theme and Salute Your Shorts. Thanks, Ren-Ren. ;)
-
I love this thread. Nick in the nineties was awesome. I think my favorite nicktoon was definitely Angry Beavers. The temple guards from Legends of the Hidden Temple scared me as well. I used to cover my eyes whenever they showed up on screen. Some dudes in my psychology class dressed up as the temple guards for Halloween. Sadly, I wasn't around to see their costumes. I used to watch Hey Arnold every day before school. Did anyone see the Hey Arnold movie? I got so mad when I heard that Helga and Arnold never get together. -.-
I also liked All That. Good Burger and the french guy in the bathtub for the win.
-
I watch Rocko everyday. Every. Day. I bought all that's available on iTunes AND the regular release DVD. iTunes didn't include all EPs but I didn't care. That's what I watch before I go to bed. I've also got Ren & Stimpy, which I love too.
I wish 90s Nick would change its line-up  I mean, All That and Kenan & Kel are GREAT but they've shown both all the way through like 3 or 4 times now. I'm waiting for Wienerville, cause that show was messed up when I was 13, can't imagine how weird it really is.

"And now a semi-educational moment. Everyday French with Pierre Escargot"
-
I miss watching kapoot and zosky the worlds two worst intergalactic invaders. I do know it was a french cartoon and i loved it dearly.
