I'm wondering if these are serious bids or someone trolling. Last night it was only at 1,000 and a few hours earlier it was only in the mid-hundreds.

I doubt the top bidder will actually pay, I just can't see it happening, if they do, do you think they'll feel slightly silly for paying $7,700 for a doormat that is just going to end up really dirty!

Heh, I was watching that. Last night it got up in the 7,000s, then the seller deleted the ridiculous bids. I suppose the trolls are insistent! I just don't really see why they need to go and ruin someone's auction...It's not necessarily funny or anything. Just stupid.

I am all for the fact that people should be allowed to pay what they want for collectable items....but gosh!
I ll vote on trolls because I simply refuse to believe that anyone would pay 7700 for something they could commission direct from a manufacturer or specialist supplier for a few hundred.

Oh, I saw that on EqD a few days ago. Whoever buys it probably won't use it. Even if they do, the lister says it's washable. A lot of peopl must want that thing. Desperatly.

Even so it is super cute! I was actually waiting for a Fluttershy doormat since the Putting Your Hoof Down episode.
I am really surprised how high the biding can get for some custom My Little Pony things! I remember a plush of Fluttershy in her gala outfit that sold for about $2,500.

If only I had that kinda cash to blow lol. This is a cute doormat, don't get me wrong, but blowing 10 grand on it when you can probably get something similar to it custom-made at a shop for a fraction of the price is beyond the pale.

Yeah, if you look at the bids, you can see the bid retractions, and there are 6 or 7 retractions that are listed as 'troll bidding.' One person bid 3 separate times.
Now it's back up to $300.

I'd hang it on my door with a hand painted hoof print marked up CHEAP doormat on the floor. It's adorable. Agree, knowing how to make stuff wuld prove to be very lucrative.
