Hello fellow WoWians! So both me and my boyfriend signed up for the AP there by making us eligible to be selected in the beta testing of the new expansion. Bad news is I didn't get my invite yet. :cry: Good news is my boyfriend did! :biggrin: Here's a screen shot of my character if anyone was curious of the new toons:

The starting area is beyond gorgeous! Very rich, vivid colors. The story line is not too bad, but then again I wasn't really paying attention. I was too busy cooing and awwing over the PANDAS! Me thinks I found my cosplay character for next year's con. ^_^

Can you migrate characters over and such? I would -love- to try out the new druid glyphs!
ETA: Also I approve of his choice of faction. B)

Zenna: In the Pandaren starting area, you'll have a choice between alliance or horde. EPIC! ^_^
Suppi: I think you can, but you won't be able to do much in the starting area. Since it's so early in the testing, there are major bugs such as being given new moves with lvling, but not being able to use them until you reach a certain lvl.

So cuute! I assumed since they weren't introducing another race that they'd either be neutral or you'd get a choice. We'll see how that plays out. I loove asian themed scenery, it's going to be very tough to resist getting sucked into this one!

Pandarans are actually kinda cute. Apparently they were a joke unit in one of the earlier Warcraft RTS games?
WoW isn't my favorite MMO, but I play it a bit.

Well Chen Stormsnout showed up in Warcraft 3 as a brief glimpse of the race. Though it's sort of nice that he did show up (even as a joke) because it usually silences all the all Kung Fu panda trolls.
Though I love Kung Fu panda, so I'm usually one of those trolls and ignore that fact. Don't they know that Po used a time machine to get into WC3?
(I've had a few kit-kat bars today. ._.)

Same here! I'm not a goat fan oddly enough. Like I -love- RPing with them but playing them? Nah, not a chance.
However I wanted a panda druid. q_q I was gonna race-change my nelf into it and they denied me. *baws*
Also before anyone can say, "Then we'll have a bear that turns into a bear!" We have a dog that turns into a cat. Just sayin'.

I love the draenei! They (er, the female ones anyway) remind me so much of Disney's Gargoyles, and that was like... my favorite cartoon growing up! I play a fem goblin priest though. xD
And when I first saw the female pandarens, I kinda laughed out of loud. That hair on their panda heads... just funny.

Ah well, to each their own. I honestly have never rolled a Draenei so I don't how they play out. Pandas so far though, are very agile. It might be just the class too; I chose dps monk.

Hehe, I've never really fully played a draenei either. I just really like the way the female ones look. ^_^ But no, I like the way the pandaren look too, from what [admittedly] little I've seen. Those elaborate hairstyles on their furry little panda heads just make me giggle a bit is all. I actually thought the red panda version was really cute!

Originally it started as an april fools joke in WarcraftIII. Later they were supposed to be in WoW the original game. But for various racial/cultural butt-hurt reasons (sensitivity about them being Chinese/Japanese drunks supposedly) they didn't make it in. My fiance was in the beta of the original game and through all these years he never quite stopped talking about it; not even when I got him the companion monk.
Now he plays KotOR.. Too little to late, WoW. ;p
I'll be playing when it comes out, I didn't sign up/buy in for a Beta invite though.

AWWW I love draenei so much!! My draenei mage was my first "Fishmeal" which turned into my general RP character, plus my ponysona and such :P

So ya, those are my ladies. And now that I've completely derailed the topic by showing off my characters!!
I loooooove the panderan female model. I love that it's big but also curvy (reminds me of the tauren female). I bet they will look sweet in plate armor. I can't wait until MoP comes out, although I'm sorta glad I didn't get into the beta - I have enough fun playing the three characters I have!

Okapi: Your ladies are pretty kick a$$ looking! I do have admit, I like the female Draenei look with their horns and hooves. Maybe I'll have to roll a Draenei next? Lol.

Omg, did someone say screenshots of WoW characters? o3o All of my girls are on Moon Guard if anyone ever wants to look me up.
This was my first max level gal, a prot pally named Mømiji and guild leader of "I Love Moo Cows". I love her transmog gear a bit to much. (I won't show her ret set because it covers even less. ^^'')

Then I have my druid, Arîana. She is my main (although I RP with 'Miji more it feels like). Sorry for kitty form, she hides in it. :3

And finally my hunter with her faithful warp stalker, Scuttles. I once had him tank trash in ZA/ZG and it felt great since this one guy wouldn't shut up about how his turtle could tank heroic trash. (Don't worry, her animals just think they're bada$$.)
