Hello, all. I've been lurking off and on here for a while. My name is Rebecca, I'm 41 years old. Born raised and living in Kentucky. I'm head cashier at a grocery store. The most important people in my life are my husband, my parents and brother, and most of all my 14 year old stepson Dragon, who is a special needs child. I've raised him since he was 3 and I may not have given birth to him, but he's my child just the same.
I never really cared much for My Little Pony until Friendship is Magic came out. Like a lot of other people, I heard the hype on the internet about the show and watched it just to see what the fuss was about. After 3 or 4 shows I was hooked. My son told me at first, "Mom! That show is for little girls! It's dumb!" But after a few more shows he was sitting right beside me while I watched them online.
Both him and I collect the G4 ponies, because we loved the show so much. At first, we told ourselves we just wanted one apiece. That didn't last long. We each have the mane cast now, along with a couple of Hasbro OCs. We're working on collecting the Fashion Style ponies now that we've gotten the smaller ones.
I'm glad to be a member here with other people who understand the love for Ponies. :)
