Title: Bowtie variants - for sale! Need price checks
Post by: Lykke on March 08, 2012, 02:37:20 PM
EDITED: NOW TAKING OFFERS

Sadly the time as come when I need to start selling out of my collection, I need money and this is the best and only way to get it. I am selling the expensive ones first so I will start with my beloved Bowties :(
I have the following:

Brazil sitting - blush rub, symbol rub, dry tail, dry ends on mane... mane cut (?)
Brazil shy pose (with dress) - other than dry hair I don't see any flaws on her
Italian CP (with curly hair) - honestly this girl feels and seems like she has just been de-carded, mint.
Italian CP Magenta hair - silky and smooth hair, no visible flaws. mint.
Italian Shy pose Magenta hair - dry ends on hair, light green around neck and near hairline and a few pink marks (one on on left back leg and one on right thigh)
Spain CP - loose head, may need a good scrub. RESERVED
Spain baby - dry tail, a few tiny pink marks and a rub on display symbol.
Greek CP - bleached out symbols, lipstick, dry hair
Greek Baby - silky and smooth hair! bleached symbols otherwise minty.
French shy pose - bite marks on ears and one mark on display front leg
Peru shy pose - dry tail, fixed rub on one eye.
Mexican shy pose - tail dry on ends and display symbols a bit worn.

Pictures can be found here (if you want more photos, just ask!)

I would love it if people would help me price these girls accurately, I don't want to charge too much but I don't want to give money away either as I need them.

Coming in the future: Playsets with original boxes, Alt. Birthflowers, Mountain Boys, Twinkle Eye, Big Brothers (with hats and scarf) and merch

I'd be interested in the greek baby (probably out of my price range though, huh..), sitting Brazil and the French. :)
Honestly no idea what their prices are, though. I'm sure someone will know!

I  Bowtie. Sorry to see you're selling. Here's my best estimates in the current market.

Brazil sitting - $350-ish
Brazil shy pose (with dress) - $50-60 with the dress, $30-ish without
Italian CP (with curly hair) - $20-30 (this one was particularly hard for me to find)
Italian CP Magenta hair - $150-ish
Italian Shy pose Magenta hair - guessing at $100-200. There aren't many around, but none have sold recently either.
Spain CP - I've been wondering about the price if this one, too. She's pretty hard to find, so I'd guess $50-60, but i'd love to hear others' thoughts.
Spain baby - $100+
Greek CP - price has severely dropped on this girl recently. I think the last ones on eBay went for $70-100. A few years ago I bought a baity one for much more than her current going rate in good condition.
Greek Baby - $150-200
French shy pose - $60-100
Peru shy pose - $20-25
Mexican shy pose - $20-ish

Also, if you're looking to sell Alt Birthflowers, I'm seriously looking for February & June. Please pm me if you have either to sell.

ohhh.....I will hold out for the Alternate Bflowers they are my goal this year! And I ll be selling a lot of Nirvanas myself to fund them...

Kitkat is bang on some prices have surprisingly dropped away - Greek BT is very down in value at the moment - but Brazil and the Spanish Baby will always be popular...

Good luck with your sales!

I am a bit disappointed in the price of greek baby as I paid more for her than what I can get but I will take photos this weekend, get a better description and start looking for buyers.

Also as for alt birthflowers I am selling feb, march, april, may, june, sept, oct, november and december.

I ll certainly be watching for a Sales Post for your Alt BFlowers whoo hoo!

Greek prices on a lot of what used to be expensive are very disappointing but they have been decreasing for the last couple of years...I lost $200 on the sales price of my greek baby minty from what I purchased her at...thats a heck of a depreciation in a couple of years.
