Post by: north star on March 08, 2012, 07:42:19 AM: hi everyone :) i'm from ireland, i'm 21, and i go by the name of north star here and on the trading post, although admittedly i'm probably the least active person in the universe. i'm a longtime lurker of the tp - by that i mean i've been lurking since literally about 1997, but obviously i was a youngster then and my parents wouldn't let me embarrass myself by actually posting ;) i've never actually joined the arena before, but why not try it out! i've been collecting ponies my entire life, though i don't actually have the biggest collection. i won't lie, though - i'm primarily a g1 collector because they're what i grew up with; even when the shops were selling g2's here, the g1's were being sold alongside them until i was in secondary school. i do have a considerable amount of g3's too but i'm considering selling the ones i don't love most... not for sensible reasons, of course, but for more pony money for g1's and the occasional g2! i've only seen one episode of friendship is magic and i'm not sure i'll be collecting the toys (that may change!) but i think it's great that they expanded the fandom to people who otherwise may never have realised their love for these little ponies.

outside of my little pony, i'm now training to be a beauty and holistic therapist. i love animals, i have a dog, a guinea pig, a hamster, and too many fish to count and they're all spoiled rotten, as all pets should be :) i love art, digital and traditional, and making websites; i used to have a personal pony one eight years or so ago! i'm also a big fan of horse riding, movies (especially horror and sci-fi!) neopets, and kayaking. i hope to talk to you all at some point soon :)
