I doubt it because those gemstones would be one hell of a choking hazard, but they're pretty cool!

They look like they must have been covered by hand to me. Very neat looking! But I kind of wonder about them being official Hasbro products.

Me too. They are very cute, but another thing that makes them fake is where SBs mark is, there is coloured gemstones, but SB hasn't got a cutie mark yet.

I think people just glued rhinestones all over Sweetie Belle and Blossomforth and stuck them to a phone case in hopes of making money. I think these are customized.

well, they aren't fake per se, rather custom ponies :)
that kind of case for iphones are very popular in for example Japan, it's called Decoden (decorated technology) :) (or just 'bling cases' if you're more familiar with that term)

You can get them on ebay and etsy too. But they are certainly not offical Hasbro.

Yes...this is quite popular in Japan/China...there are a lot of sellers who will offer to bedazzle just about anything for keychains, mobile phone covers and more.

I have seen similar ones on ebay - like a iphone cover that had 1/2 of a g3.5 stuck to it and the whole thing is covered in swarovorsky crystals. its pretty but kinda big for an iphoone cover

I have seen them before. I think they are pretty neat, but they are not for me. Which is kinda funny because I like decoden type things.
I have done something similar to this before with my glasses case. It takes a while and a lot of patients to do.

OK, I have to ask.. Are the girls' eyes on this site really that big? Are they just opening them super wide? Is it photoshopped? It just looks like some of these girls have abnormally large eyes!

Actually I believe they are a type of contact lense that kinda... makes your eyes looks bigger and have them opened up. They are considered rather unsafe to use because they can cause eye problems or even go blind.
Or it's just photoshoped.

Oh my! I didn't know there was such a thing! I won't even try normal contacts because my eyes are so sensitive. I cannot imagine wearing something like that. *eep*

A few of them look photoshopped (I have a tutorial in a magazine somewhere that shows how to do this sort of anime effect). Some of them are a product of eye makeup and huge eyelashes

Throwing my two cents in, most of those are circle lenses (contact lenses that are larger than standard lesnes and have a dark perimeter to give the effect of a very large iris), eye makeup, and camera angles. It's very popular for those fashions. (I have a few pairs of circle lenses myself, for fun, but I don't wear them quite like that~)

I think they're not legittimate. They are reproduced by customizers with glued on rhinestones but they are pretty awesome! xx

@Nein I think one of those pictures is Picklepuds - it was raised on a thread before and I think someone let him know...but if Apple cant stop counterfeit stores what hope do the rest of us have of influencing once seller and their pictures on a website in China!

...I was excited for a moment. I've seen these before and I don't really like them. Maybe it would look better on a larger pony, but not the tiny G4s.
