Hey everyone! From the looks of it, my story is pretty similar to quite a few of you. Played with ponies when I was younger, then became interested in them again after viewing MLP:FiM. After getting though the first season in about a week, I make a beeline for the basement the next time I visited home and dug out my old ponies that I made my dad swear on pain of death he wouldn't get rid of. I fawned over them for the weekend and then put them back and forgot about them until about a month ago when I found a dirty, frizzy-haired Cuddles in an antique mall. I had just applied for a new job a few days earlier, and a pony restoration seemed like the perfect distraction while I waited anxiously to hear back. Well, that little distraction turned into an obsession fairly quickly, and I found my way onto this website. I am happy to say that I got the job, and I am hoping to be on my way to a exciting new position and hopefully more fertile pony hunting grounds, as where I am right now is pretty much a barren pony wasteland. Anyway, thanks for letting me tell my story. This board looks like it's full of a bunch of fun and friendly people. Look forward to getting to know you!

Sure did! It's a small collection, so they're just chilling next to me on my desk as I type this. Nobody's particularly rare or valuable, but I could never get rid of any of these guys anyway!

Yeah I am excited about that, I've already gotten started! I look forward to using the sunfading tutorial on my Brush n Grow Bouquet, who my younger self apparently thought needed a ballpoint pen makeover. Luckily she's not too bad. I am hoping I can find something to help out my Starshine though. She's a hot mess!

Welcome! :) Gah, I wish I would have had a pile of ponies stashed away for me when I started my obsession! >_< All I had was a MCD's Celestia toy and my sister's chewed on [ :cry: ] Sweet Stuff.

Welcome. You're story is a lot like mine. All my ponies I wouldn't let my dad get rid of finally made it home with me and they are in the process of getting cleaned and photographed. I am sure you'll love it here. :biggrin:

Yes! I am having a blast fixing them all up and getting them back to their former glory with all the advice and tutorials on here.
