It's so ridiculously even, too!
That's so weird, I kinda like it, though, but I have no idea how that happened. O.O
I would expect that to happen because peroxide will turn even the darkest hair blonde.... especially pure peroxide... in fact I would have thought her hair would fall to pieces too!
That's the part I don't understand... If the peroxide was strong enough to turn it blond, I would have thought it would destroy it, too. : o:o

maybe it had something to do with the "blue" dye part of the pink? Dark hot hair like sugar berry's red-pink has yellow red and blue in it. Maybe the red blue part is more easily damaged.
I know with human hair blue and green pigments are always the quickest to wash out.

I've been wanting to try the peroxide/sun method but now this scares me a little bit. XD
She looks really pretty, though! But at the same time she'd be easy to rehair if needed since Dollyhair has her exact match.
So, so tempted to try this! I have an extra, discoloured Sugarberry, and a bottle of expired (since 2007) hydrogen peroxide. Not sure I have enough left in the bottle to cover the pony, though. I also don't have much in the way of sunlight.
Why didn't her tail change? You said your friend was trying to whiten her body... did she remove the tail?

Yeah she removed the tail for the soak.
Yeah, I figured it doesn't happen that often. XDI've been wanting to try the peroxide/sun method but now this scares me a little bit. XD

I mentioned earlier that I've done some attempts with peroxide/sunfading. I have yet to have any problems with it- of course I use non-expired peroxide! I think you should give it a try, maybe start on a baity pony or one that you plan to rehair or something along those lines if you're that worried. I've had some amazing results with it and this is the first time I've seen anything quite like this!
I have to agree, I am amazed it did not make the hair brittle. I would be careful to keep her out of the sun though now. Did her tail go too?:o

She does look very pretty now at least:) I am curious though how effective the whitening works? Will it fade cancer spots or clear up marks? I have a couple bodies id love to brighten up for customs if it actually works!
Is there a tutorial for this somewhere?
