The first UK seizure of a female sanitary product used by teenagers as a way of getting high has been made by health officials.
The product, called Tantum Rosa, is an unlicensed medicine which was found to be on sale in Polish shops in Southampton, Hampshire. The active ingredient is believed to have been used by Polish teenagers and has been linked to a vandalism incident in a local cemetery.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) led the raids on four Polish shops in Southampton on Monday supported by the city council's trading standards department and police.

I... what?
-
What...? Lol
-
Perhaps it was something in an aerosol?
-
Huh? Is it a pain medication? I'm not sure what a "female sanitary product medicine" would be, other than something like Midol :P Teenagers find the most creative ways to alter their minds. Unfortunately this kind of thing is often more harmful than illegal drugs. The "bath salt" epidemic here in the U.S. is a prime example.

I looked it up...it's an anti-inflammatory spray that apparently is used in places it doesn't seem like a spray would do any good.
Perhaps it was something in an aerosol?
Yeah, I think you're right and they're probably huffing it...
-
Umm. why... who would even think of doing something like that? Seriously!?
...I don't even
-
Apparently the main ingredient is supposed to be anti-inflammatory for mouth and throst pain. I don't see what that has to do with menstruation. I guess overdoses act as a deliriant. Stupid kids.
-
It's not for menstruation, but inflammation in other places, not just mouth and throat pain.
-
-
Uh...... What?!
-
What the... I don't even... :argh:
