Post by: Alrak on February 23, 2012, 02:37:50 PM
So, what game did you enjoy most? I know that good company makes any game good, so games you played and loved with meh people get extra points XD

My fiancee and i are desperate to find a game to play together :P (we already play Starcraft2)

Thanks^^.

Borderlands! It's awesome. Sort of a dystopian FPS RPG. It has an exp system, and lots of guns. The stats on the weapons and armour is procedurally generated, so it's unlikely you'll find the exact same thing twice, and the more people you play with, the better the loot drops.

I was JUST going to say Borderlands.  I'm also a fan of Left 4 Dead 2's co-op mode.

Oh dear, I'm gonna have to break out my Steam games list. xD

Let's see... These are games my man and I have played together and enjoyed:

*Favorite* Borderlands, of course! (Including all of the DLC)
Brink - Team Fortress 2-style game (there's a term for this game style but I can't remember what it is ><)
Dungeon Defenders - Tower defense.  Very colorful and silly. :3
F.E.A.R. 3 - Just throwing this out there.  Not sure what your feelings on horror games are.
Hunted: The Demon's Forge - Fantasy third-person platformer.  Fun co-op gameplay!
Portal 2 - Co-op puzzle solving!
Sid Meier's Civilization IV
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Team Fortress 2

These are all available for the PC via Steam and I think a good many of these are on the Xbox as well.  :3

I've lost my husband to Dungeon Defenders.  I'm considering getting it, just to have more time with him, lol.  He's got the rainbow unicorn pet =P

I really like the Lego games.  They are fun to play together.  Portal is good too!

First one that comes to mind is Star Trek Online.  It's F2P now (and actually quite generous on the free accounts to boot.)

For consoles though:

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, Dark Alliance 2, Champions of Norrath (effectively Dark Alliance 3), and Champions: Return to Arms.  Those are available on the PS2 and the original XBox.  And even better, they can be networked.

My vote is for Magika on steam! I played through the main storyline co-op with a friend and we had heaps of fun with it.
