I'm fairly new to sewing but I love to make things for myself and my friends.
I just finished this bag tonight - made with a little less than a yard worth of fabric and handmade bias tape. I also did an applique for maybe about the second time. I think it turned out okay.
Anyways, I'd love some constructive criticism!

It folds up and has a tie so I can stash it in my purse, as well -

It looks cute! You lined it? Did you applique by hand or with the machine?

I didn't line it, but it's made of flannel so I figured it ought to be able to stand up to a fairly heavy load. The seams are all double stitched :)
I used the machine to applique the "I <minnesota> MSP" on it. It was probably the part that took the longest!

Its a cute bag :D
I..havent touched a sewing machiene before..but I guess im just stubborn that way. Still feels great when you sew (for me, by hand) something yourself^^

Believe it or not, it is quite the little powerhouse. I got it as a wedding gift. <3 It has GREAT reviews on Amazon.com and Target!
