This chestnut mare is on hold right now for me, once i get the appropriate funds i will be adopting her !!! <3 i cant wait i met her today and took her out for a little ride she is the sweetest thing. but soo underweight still. poor thing i cant wait to get her weight up and get her healthy. she will be so happy i think.
you can see her on this page under the name "sparty" look at how bad she was when they rescued her in october http://classyquarters.weebly.com/our-rescues.html (http://classyquarters.weebly.com/our-rescues.html) it makes me so angry at whoever did that to her

This her now, but she still needs more weight. i'm already in LOVE <3 I want to give her lots of love. this poor baby deserves all the attention in the world! her backstory is that a man foaled her for the first time when she was 17 years old!!!! and when the foal died he deemed her useless and locked her in a shed without food for months.. and she started eating the fencing and dirt and the only water she got was the mud she was standing in or whatever melted snow and rainwater got to her. i hope he gets what he deserves... Karma.
 I hope she will be happy with me. she loves to give kisses and ran right up to me in the pasture today.

Congratulations, look at what a beauty she is!! How incredibly horrible that she had to go through that- now she will get the life she deserves :)
-
Poor baby! I'm so glad she'll have a good home now! And congrats!!
-
it always amazes me how people can be so cruel to animals! congrats on adopting her, i am sure she will be in good hands with you!
-
Aww, poor girly. I'm so glad she's in loving hands now, congrats! :lovey:
-
The poor girl :( I'm so glad she's found a nice loving home, she'll be so happy with you.
As for that idiot, and all others that abuse animals, I have no words... and will just leave it at that. I'm friends with numerous rabbit rescuers, and the stories are just heartbreaking.
But it's so rewarding hearing their stories when they finally come around and start trusting humans again.

Congrats! Glad she ended up in rescue! Hope you have many fun years with her!

Take it easy on those bls, try to get some more muscle tone in her back before getting too much bulk on. You lose muscle first in those situations. There was a great article in I think H & R that gave some back strengthening exercises you can do unmounted if you want I can scan it and send it your way. She is lucky to have found a new mamma who is going to love her to pieces.

;) Thanks diamond! il be very careful with her, im getting all her vet records and reccomendations for her weight and muscle mass. if u find the article feel free to forward me it! <3
