Title: Celebrity MLP Collectors - Myth or Reality?
Post by: tuneful87 on February 19, 2012, 05:05:45 PM: As many of you are quite aware, Beyonce used to be into MLP as a little girl. How do I know that? Thanks to good ol' People magazine, of course!

So...do you think there are celebrity collectors among us? Perhaps they're active members of the Arena, or maybe they're lurkers. Maybe they're the ones buying up all the rare Nirvanas. What do you think? Which celeb do you think is most likely to be among us?

It was holly she made a hat of MLP to wear to the Kentucky derby.

I think along the lines of Katy Perry liking them. And selena Gomez liking them as well.

Hey! Didn't know about that one :D I just looked it up, and an article at mylittleponynews.com says Arena member Sparkleworks83 posted about it ^^ Not sure if I'm allowed to link from that site, so I'll just share what I found in the article:

From People Magazine, on Seth Green's wedding:

"One detail both focused on was catering party favors to the individual guest. "We both like toys, so the centerpiece for each of the tables were different collections of toys that were takeaways," Green says of various action figures – think G.I. Joe – that waited for guests.

"My mom got the Care Bears," Grant says, "because she used to call me Clare Bear, and another good friend of ours had a pony collection so we made sure she got the My Little Pony table." "

Hahaha what a great picture!

We know Junko Mizuno likes ponies because she designed one...I saw her being interviewed on Jonathon Ross' program about Japan, and she had several g1 ponies as well as other 80's toys on shelves that she used for inspiration XD I remember seeing newborn twins
