Title: Banumathi
Post by: TickledPink on February 15, 2012, 10:09:40 AM
Banumathi is the Sanskrit word for "Beautiful" derived from the word Bhanumat (भानुमत्) Which means "sun, luminous, and beautiful"

In the Mahabharata (महाभारत) Bhanumathi was the princess of Kashi, wife of Duryodhana.

I used a DG baby for her base and painted her with lumiere and golden artist acrylics. She has swarvoski crystals for her bindi and she is rehaired with dollyhair's Black Magick, Sunlight, and Hot Lips.

She was incredibly difficult for me to photograph, due to her being so dang bright, but I was FINALLY able to capture her with the camera!

Oh I forgot to mention, she's not for sale! she's owned by Wolflair. I will be making more though, so keep your eyes peeled ;)

Seriously stunning. The match of hair and the symbol is perfect, and you couldn't ask for a better base color. Your lines are FLAWLESS. I love the thicker lines balanced with the delicate ones.
