My name is Johanna, I'm 24 and was born in Finland. I moved to England over four years ago to study animation and will hopefully finish my studies this summer, if everything goes well. (:

I've been collecting toys and figures most my life and would say it all started from collecting Schleich animal figures as a child (I still collect and display them.) About 8 years ago I found ball jointed resin dolls (BJDs) and collected and photographed them actively for many years and also helped to run a hobby forum for the Finnish doll enthusiasts. Because of my studies and other life changes I haven't been actively collecting toys and figures for a while but it's all about to change.

Because of my interest in animation I started watching the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series and absolutely fell in love with the characters and the overall look of the world. I've always had a soft spot for My Little Ponies but apart from playing with MLP toys as a child, I never saw myself collecting them, even though I did admire and envy other people's pony collections. I was so impressed by the new TV show that I started dreaming about buying a couple of pony characters just to display them in my bookshelf but didn't do anything about it. Then, last December a friend of mine, who was aware of how much I loved the series, bought me a Fluttershy figure as a present. I absolutely loved the tiny pony figure and was unable to put her off my hand for weeks. After a while she started looking awfully lonely so I decided it was time to do something about it... and that's how the story of my tiny MLP collection begun.
I'm still a total newbie in the My Little Pony hobby and currently my collection consists of only four G4 ponies but I feel like there's no turning back anymore as I've been bitten by the My Little Pony bug. (My other half already saw nightmares of drowning in pony figures after I had shown him pictures of all the ones I want to eventually add to my collection.) :)

On my free time I usually draw, photograph, play video games, watch TV shows and waste time online watching clips and photos of fat puppies and other baby animals being cute. Very exciting.

I'm looking forward to being a member of My Little Pony Arena and hopefully I'll meet nice people here and get to see and read lots of interesting posts. :frolic:

The lower picture reads: "Happy Friends' day" in Finnish because in Finland Valentine's day is called a friends' day or a friendship day and is more about remembering your friends than a day for couples. :)
