(NASDAQ: HAS) and Zynga (NASDAQ: ZNGA) announced today a comprehensive partnership that grants Hasbro the rights to develop a wide range of toy and gaming experiences based across Zynga’s popular social games and brands. As the world’s largest social game developer with more than 227 million monthly active users, Zynga has created some of the world’s most popular social game brands including FarmVille, CityVille and Words With Friends.
Through this agreement, Hasbro has obtained the license to develop and distribute wide ranging product lines based on Zynga’s game brands in a number of toy and game categories. This deal also creates an array of opportunities for co-branded merchandise featuring a combination of both Hasbro and Zynga brands.

I play Farmville all the time. If they release Mlp stuff, i'll play more often. Other Zynga games i play are Cafe World and Cityville.

It blew up 2 laptops at my house! LOL!
I loved farmville, but I can't play it anymore (don't want to new laptop to go up in flames)... but hey, it leaves more arena time!

I used to play Farmville a lot... at least twice a day.. But i stopped too... Got really annoying to try and keep up with all the notifications.
I would like to see what is going on here though... So maybe i will start playing again

That would be pretty cool if they did! I don't have a Facebook either, and I'm already too in love with Smurfs Village to try another farming game right now, but I'd enjoy looking at other's photos! :)

I'm a bit confused! I'm reading this article so maybe I'm missing something: http://farmvillefreak.com/farmville-freaks/zynga-hasbro but it looks like Hasbro is just going to be making toys based on Zynga games? Am I missing the part that says there will be MLP-related things in the Farmville game?

You're not missing it, I think people are just getting excited because of the "My Little Farmville" logo that was made by Equestria Daily and attached to the news article. It's far more likely that Hasbro will make toys of existing games...but it would be neat to see games made for existing toys!
