Title: Who Would You Like the New G4 2012 Brush-ables To Be?
Post by: hathorcat on February 07, 2012, 06:32:23 AM: Right so according to "unofficial" reports...Hasbro will be releasing 18 characters in their standard brushable range in 2012....*

No doubt 6 of these will be the original 6....who would you like the other 12 to be!!??

Minty of course springs to mind but anyone else? Background character, G1/G3 homage, or just a new colour combo...go wild! And this is standard brushable so we ll probably get girls only and earth or unicorn or pegasus!

Secretly I am hoping for a G1 Bow inspired earth pony...she would fit the wedding theme of 2012.

I actually hope we won't see too many background ponies from the show, as most of those lack multicolored manes. Another thing i hope for is that these new ponies might get some new poses.
It's been almost two years or so and we still only have two poses. With the second pose not being that much different from the first.

Boys would be nice but I'm not going to hold my breath for them to be released as singles... maybe after the playset has been out for a while...

(Dear Hasbro, I would be happy with ANY pony that is not pink, purple or white lol.)

But deffinately want more baby ponies, Minty, a birthday themed set please hasbro~, Cherries Jubilee, Tea Love (because I love tea too XD ), and deffinately more boys. I used to pair my G1's up with other girl ponies because I never could get/find a boy pony. And I LOVE Big Mac! He's so cute :3 I'd like to see Granny Smith one day too, but I doubt they'll ever make her into a brushable or anything....

It would be cool to see a pony with a white mane, too. Something like the G1s had. White with a stripe or something. Or a mixture of white and other colors...

Also, it would be cool to have a pony salon with the two sisters from FiM. I love their color scheme. :) Plus a non-mane six set would be super cool.

Yellow and orange simply because they're my LEAST favorite colors (although I did get Honeybuzz, so I'll make an exception if it goes with the ponies "theme" and I like it. For instance, I know one of the wave 4 blind bags has a lightbulb cutie mark and now I totally want one with that.) And pink because I'm just simply sick of it. I get disgusted every time I see it on a new pony now (Although, I do badly want a Roseluck, sooo... again I'd make exceptions).

Really, I think they just need to start releasing more ponies with cool color tones. The only ponies I have that are not a warm colored tone are Luna and Flitterheart (just remembered my FS Rarity, as well), and even Flitterheart's purple body leans a little more pink than I'd like. My preferences lean VERY much to cool tones so I'm becoming very displeased with the trend my little collection is taking. I want some GREENS and BLUES, please! Greens and blues that are NOT paired with pink and yellow would be ideal. Heh... so picky, aren't I?

but id like to see more blind bag ponies made into brushables, as well as more background ponies, more uniquely colored ponies (id like to see more red and green, and maybe some neon colors, silver, gold, brown, gray, and even black! but less pink) and whatever pony can be brought back from previous lines!

And I really hope Hasbro comes out with ponies that aren't pink. Green, Orange, Yellow, and Red would be nice!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I would love to see G4 versions of Surprise and other G1 ponies, but I realize that probably isn't possible since Hasbro seems to have lost the copyright to some G1 ponies.

I'd rather see few earth ponies. Let's make THEM special! If they came up with an earth pony with great colors, I'd get it. But other than Applejack, I haven't seen them produce an earth pony I liked.

It's easy to list off the characters you want to see made but I tried to rein myself in and make a list that would be more colorful then the past lines. The list includes 2 green ponies, 3 blue, 2 yellow, 1 cream, 1 pink, 1 purple, either a red or golden one and a white.
6-7 are show characters which would make adult fans happy. A white stallion and more bait colors could make customizers happy.
6 of them either have pink or have the posibility of pink, yet none are pink bodied unicorns.
3 are boys, which seems pretty reasonable to start with.

I totally over thought this. :silly:

ahhh that would be the limit if they made a G4 Firefly :D at the very least we've got one pink peg coming, G3-to-G4 Skywishes. Now if only she wasn't an International exclusive and a bonus on top of that xP

I'd rather see few earth ponies. Let's make THEM special! If they came up with an earth pony with great colors, I'd get it. But other than Applejack, I haven't seen them produce an earth pony I liked.

But if the background ponies would be turned into toys, how would they be more "distinct"? Their toys would just be the same, only with less colors (and often less complex/repetitive cutie marks.).

I think there is a general consensus that lots of us would like to see blind bags so lets hope thats where HB takes there lead...Firecracker Burst would be amazing!

Oh a little Pip would be amazing! I just figured they wouldn't do him because his paint job would be more intricate. But a little boy to play with all the little girls (CMC and others) would be great and they really wouldn't have to make a new mold (maybe add a new eye style). And he's super cute in the show!

I wonder if they are planning anything with her. If they change her eye color so it isn't so much like Sweetie Belle's she'd make a good release.

I'd like to see foals available more cheaply, but would people go for a foal being packed and priced the same as a regular single brushable? If a foal isn't equal to an adult because of the size, what could they include to more or less make up the difference?

I'd love to see a regular 3 inch release of Luna with Fashion style Luna eyes ( no evil Totsy eyed Luna please). A wide release would be appreciated, so everyone could have her.

When I was a little girl, I liked variety in my ponies, both in size (male, female, baby) and color I wanted a RAINBOW of ponies, not just 400,000 different shades of pink.
