Title: Lovers Flight (sold)

Another sorta kinda valentines pony. She is inspired by the cranes that come to my yard and pasture here in Florida; they are such beautiful creatures and we have a couple pairs that come back all year long (They mate for life). The pony is custom dyed, then she had silver paint stippled in gradients onto her face, neck, sides, back and a little on her legs, this was then gone over with silver glitter acrylic once again gradient style and then the cranes were painted on with acrylics. I did several layers of paint and sealer layers for the eyes and have finally found a way to really minimize the red dye bleed through, the entire pony was sealed with testor's dullcote and I have to apologize she has a couple finger prints because I accidentally touched a couple wet spots.  She is haired in black magick and moonlight and her hair is adorned with pearl pins and beads. I hope you like her! She is for sale for $40 plus shipping.

oooOOOoooOO I love how she sparkles.

That touch of blue for her eyes was icing on the cake!

What an amazing body colour, I love the glitter and her symbol is awesome, too  :lovey:

She is lovely, the cranes are elegantly done and the silver stipled is gorgeous!

Wow, that is a fabulous dye job!  Such a nice true red!  I love her sparkles, her hair, well everything!

I love how you did the silver... it looks like a neat twist on airbrushing. Was it a brush or sponge or some other painting thing

This is such a unique custom.  I totally dig it.  The color scheme is unexpected, but looks great.  I LOVE the crane symbol and the inspiration behind it.  Very nice! :)
