She is send from austria to netherland. I hope see doesn't get lost and i will get her savely. at home regarding there is no housenumber or that she is rtting returned to zora so shr can send it again with my housenumber on it.
I just had to get this off my chest i am so scared want that pony so bad! And it will kill me if she just got lost! And know she is now in my country bit can't follow her anymore because she past the border.
I kniw it is much blabla and not interesting at all but i am just worried and wanted to tell it.
Has anyone had this before and what do you think is going to happen?

Thanks for listening to my  endless worries  ^.^

*UPDATE*

Jeeej it looks like everything is going to be ok!
The packages finally has been send back to zora (after more than 2 weeks)! ANd now is in Germany and from there going to Austria.
I will be so glad when she is savely back with zora.

Perhaps you could notify your post office that you're expecting that package? I've had to do that and the post office called me when it arrived. I just showed them my driver's license and they let me take the package.

I already called but there are so much companies that bring packages around so i don't know who ti call. And i did call one but they can't do anything anything for me or track down the package because it is fraud sensitive. And they bring it to my house and not a post office. Weh can't do anything i think only can wait and hope it is going ok.
Thanks for your feedback!

I don't know what it's like in the Netherlands, but in the states there's the United States Postal Service, which is a government operated, well, postal service. There's a Postal Service office for every postal code. If the Netherlands has something like that, give them a ring and tell them your situation.

Hopefully there is a return address on it so even if worse comes to the worse and the cant identify you by the address that is listed, it should return to your seller! You should check with your seller that she did this - most sellers will "just in case".

Good luck - keeping everything crossed for you...

Yeah i did call but they are not ownes by goverment.
They said the can't do anything because it is easy to fraud. So they will do nothing for me it is just send back to the sender (she put her adress on it luckely). But post often just dissapears here when it is not clear so thats why i am stressing! So stupid they can not just help me!

This happens at work a lot with our parcels, and the post will not try and deliver them if there is no house number.
They get returned to us, but it takes a long time.

my adress is on the package, i think it will be delivered by your federal post service because i sent it by austrian federal post service. maybe you could call your local post office which operates the delivery guys?

I sometimes get mail without our house number on it. I live in a mobile home park and besides having a normal street address, we each have a lot number. Well, people sometimes forget to put the lot number, but usually it ends up just getting written on the package or letter in pen by the mail carrier. We've had the same mail carrier for at least 10 years and she is really good about knowing who the package is for just by the names. I guess it kind of depends on if the person who delivers you mail is going to put in the extra effort to find the rest of the address by going by finding another correctly addressed piece of mail with the same name on it and putting it together.

You need to talk to your local post office. Find out which one sorts for delivery for your local route.

Try to snatch it before it gets sent back. You probably have to inform the people who sort, or their boss.
Call, and call again. Go down in person if you have to.

I had a package sent from Korea to the US without a street address recently. I happened to take off work, and be at the post office for another issue. So I inquired about my package, (which had tracking, and said there was a recent attempt for delivery-- but I knew there wasn't, because no note was left. I had a bad feeling about it.). The local post office HELD it for three days, waiting for someone to claim it. I got very lucky, because they were about to send it back.

I think TNT will look up for the number itself, is you postalcode on the package? With your name/street and postalcode they could find out where you live. I forgot to write a postalcode on a package and then it is sorted by hand and they look up for the info by themself it only takes longer to arrive.

*hugs*     that must be sooo stressful for you ! but I would try not to worry too much - there is  a chance that there will be other letters or packages addressed to you arriving at the same time, or up to a week later, and then the PO will know which house number to deliver the parcel to, or they will look at the other details on the parcel and be able to tell which number it should be delivered to ;)    I had a parcel sent to me once with the wrong house number written on it, but it arrived safely because another parcel and some letters for me arrived at the same time so they realized where the parcel should be sent :awake:
If the worst happens and they dont send it to you, hopefully the item will be returned to Zora and then she can post it to you again   . I'm  sending lots of positive thoughts in your direction and I hope that everything turns out well

That could be true!
If not, i hope it will be retour to Zora and she can send it to you again.
By the way, it's not stupid to worry about this, i would feel sad too!

I really hope they can find my house number!
I check the track and trace number 10 times a day :P .

When something doesn't go the way i plant i get anxious. I want to be in control of everything. I think it is a left over from my mental disorder i had  . I have to have everything under control otherwise i flip out!

Thank you hokuspokus for understanding.

And thank you everyone for the messages i makes me feel a little less anxious now i can share it and get it of my chest.

I am sure she will make it back safely to you zora.  And that is sweet that your adding some extra's for the trouble.

I know these situations can be stressful for both parties.  It's good to see that your both working on resolving the issue to make it a happy ending!

sent her + her sisters again today :)

i hate that the high shipping costs here do not cover the costs for sending her back to me. the governmental services here rip you off whenever they can..!
Title: Re: Housenumber forgotten on package

Yeah i hate it to. For the netherlands we had to pay like 7/8 euro for texas anv for austria 20 euro texas! And not only that it took the package 3.5 weeks to get back at zora's. The just rip you of! In the netherlabds they didn't even try to find me not much left from the service since it is nit from the goverment anymore (it is the other way around from austria. when it was owned by the goverment they had service, but now it is al about money money money).
But zora thank you so much you are just a sweetheart couldn't thank you more. You are an amazing person! :lovey:
