Title: Re-Curling Dancing Butterflies' Hair?
Post by: starrypawz on February 01, 2012, 12:16:39 AM
So I'm finally getting around to cleaning some ponies and I need to redo Dancing Butterflies' hair. She did have curls when I brought her but because she really needed a good clean (she was really gunky on the inside) I ended up wrecking the curl in her hair (I really kicked myself over that D: ).

I know how to get the tight 'ringlet' type curls you get from straws/markers but how would I go about sorting out DB's hair? As the curls she has are a lot looser.

You could do the hair with rollers instead, that would make a softer curl than doing it with straws :)

I'd also recommend rollers. Or I think you could use something like a fat magic marker to roll the hair around too.

Thanks. :) I'll see if I can get a hold of some rollers I do have some thick pens, I have some of the thick Crayola markers so if I can't get any rollers I'll try them. What size hair rollers should I look for?

Ponyland Press has some great tips for re-curling :)
